Shane and Craig’s home is truly a phenomenal oasis in the middle of the redwoods. The multi-level property offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest while also offering every amenity (highly functional and well-designed kitchen, homey living space, two separate sleeping areas, hot tub and lounge chairs with views of the surrounding forest) one would need for a restful vacation. The town of Guerneville is only 5 minutes away with access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, wine tasting rooms, and the Russian River. Highly recommend as a couples’ getaway or family/friends’ trip.

My best friend and I stayed at this tree house over the weekend, and it was truly a magical experience. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole place had such a peaceful, quiet vibe—it felt like a little slice of paradise. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxing, and the space felt so cozy and homey. We loved every minute of our stay and left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

The stay was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the pond. The cabin stayed very warm and the showers water temp was on point. We didn’t use the hot tube but it did look off to the pond which was special. The loft bed was not as comfy as the downstairs bed, but that was no big deal. Overall nice stay with nice amenities.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We did a small vacation in Sonoma and this place absolutely made our vacation. Diana was an amazing host and gave amazing recommendations on where to go. The cabin was picturesque and peaceful with a great view of the little stream. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and it was so nice being out in nature while being so close to everything. We will be back for sure!

Our stay at Kaity’s place was great and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and so are its surroundings. We even had a small group of deer pay us a visit one morning. She was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We would definitely come back in the future.

Great place, felt right at home, comfortable, with a well built kitchen with lots of equipment and a retro feel & excellent quality appliances. For a winter stay it was peaceful, private and comfortable, a great quick getaway from the Bay Area; in the summer there would be a lot of closeby activities. Judy is a very responsive host and answered questions right away. I highly recommend it.

This was hands down the best time we’ve ever had at an Airbnb. We absolutely loved the privacy and seclusion of the property — it felt like our own peaceful retreat. The fully fenced-in yard made it feel super safe for our dogs, and they had the best time running around freely while we relaxed. The place had everything we needed and more — from a well-stocked kitchen to thoughtful touches all around. It was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. One of our favorite surprises was the amazing DVD collection — such a fun throwback touch. And yes, we even got to use the kayak, which was a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to the hosts for creating such a special space. We’re already thinking about coming back!

A lot of attention to detail was what I noticed. When I arrived, everything I needed and wanted was right there, even things that are important like a super comfortable bed, with high-quality linens. The place was adorable, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for what I needed, I’ll definitely be back again.

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

The perfect retreat from the busy city! My partner and I (and our dog) loved the peace and quiet and listening to the frogs and owls as we fell asleep. The cottage was stocked with every cooking tool we needed (even a waffle maker). The location was perfect and we made trips to the redwoods, sebastopol, and bodega bay during our stay. All of the instructions Sue sent were very clear. We will definitely be back to recharge at this magic cabin again!

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

The place was absolutely cozy, and the view so pretty. The deer were awesome to see. Plenty of board games to play. The host were so helpful and communicative. When we accidentally left something behind, the host were so helpful to help us to get our lost item back the next day.

The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

The moment you walk into the Airbnb you can tell that the hosts were thoughtful in creating an aesthetically pleasing spot. It's very quaint and perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the spa amenities. The outdoor sauna, bath, and table w/ a firepit worked great and were all VERY enjoyable. They are new hosts and they are working out the kinks, but I don't foresee this being an ongoing issue. The hosts are very attentive and open to feedback. The spot is close to Nevada City and has great foot spots. Overall, very pleased!!

This was, without a doubt, one of the most lovely Air Bnb's I have stayed in. The tiny touches to detail in things like kitchen supplies, lighting, quality of linens made the entire experience beautiful. The house was made with love and it shows. The property around the house was a perfect mixture of rustic and artistic touches that integrated into the green and tree covered hillside. I cannot recommend highly enough for a quiet escape to the redwoods.

I stayed in Melinh’s lovely cabin for 2 weeks and I felt at home immediately. It felt secluded and private even though there are some neighbors. Behind the cabin is a creek with moss covered logs, ferns and wildflowers. It was so peaceful. Melinh was responsive in mere minutes whenever I needed anything. I hope to return!

Arriving late at night after a last minute booking was a challenge on dirt roads with a 2 wheel drive but the instructions were clear and worth the experience of staying in an enchantingly serene cabin/hut. This little hut located on McNab ranch, the backroads of Ukiah county, was perfectly constructed to meet ones needs: outside kitchen counter, sink, and shower, little bed and cot, a writing desk and shelves for towels and lanterns. It’s the kind of place one would use to get away to, to finish a book or do deep meditation at. The hut doesn’t have a bathroom, so be aware that you have to dispose of the bucket in the compost bin, but to anyone who’s ever roughed it or owned a dog, this isn’t even a setback. In the morning, I was awoken by a squirrel hiding its nuts on the roof, seller’s jays and quail. Shar and Lea are both kindred souls, two fairies that maintain the harmony on their sacred land.. My family and I loved staying here. We had everything we needed and more. The property is so peaceful and quiet. Love the decor and style of everything and the foosball table was so fun to play. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to relax and get away!
