Eri was so beautiful! So helpful and the way she showed us around the home and her attention to detail was phenomenal! I even asked to stay an extra day because kyoto became my favorite place in all of Japan! Coming to Japan i was a bit disappointed with Tokyo, but i am so grateful for Koji and Eris gorgeous home and their recommendations. We rented kimonos and spent the whole day visiting local shrines and temples, all within walking distance. It was such an amazing experience. I will be coming back next year and am going to spend my entire vacation in Kyoto. Hopefully I will be able to stay at Tsubara house again!

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

Great deal for those with large groups visiting Osaka! The Castle is very spacious and clean in both the individual rooms and the shared spaces, we had 11 people and there was still plenty of space. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but still within a 10/15 min walk to two metro stations that can take you anywhere you’re going in the city. There are also many shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a 7/11 right around the corner! Overall great experience at this location.

L’appartement est très bien placé, proche d’un métro et très facile d’accès. Il est également très spacieux, nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Stayed in multiple Airbnbs throughout Japan, and this location was by far the BEST! It accommodated my family of 7 plus my 1 year old. Perfect location to walk to several restaurants, bus routes, and train. The decorations and the small detail made the place even more special. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Enjoyed every moment.

It was really close to a train station, about five mins away or less, and multiple convenience stores which helped with snacks after long days. Only thing to note is all three rooms are attached, so to get to the third room you must go through the first and second room. It wasn’t an issue for us but might be for those who want privacy. There was a bright exit sign in the first room which was bothersome the first night but we just covered it with a black shirt the next nights and it was fine. Overall would stay again.

Akane's place was perfect for our group of 6. The apartment is flexible for different combinations of people in the 3 bedrooms. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Akane always responded right away whenever we needed instructions on anything in the apartment. Her English is very good and she is very friendly. We had a great time!

Mio was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. Her communication was perfect from pre check-in to checkout. Mio came to meet us at the train station and helped us to her beautiful house. We had just got engaged and she had lovely flowers for my fiancée. The house had everything we could need - we felt right at home here. It's a 30 second walk to a well connected subway (less than 5 minutes to Sanjo bridge) and just next to the beautifull Kamagowa River which is great to cycle with the provided bikes. Mio also drove us to the station at checkout which saved us so much time. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Kyoto. This is a must book house for anyone coming to Kyoto.

Yamano-san is one of the most helpful hosts I've ever had the pleasure of having. He sent us a complete house guide with directions to get to his place (with photos of every turn), how to use the appliances, and how to dispose of garbage. Japan has strict rules on garbage disposal, so that was essential information. He alsobmet us at check-in to show us everything. He responds to messages immediately and came when we needed help with the water system. We came during cherry blossoms season so everything was just wow! Crowded but beautiful. Good thing Yamano-san's house is in a quiet area even if it is less than 200m from a train and bus station, and from a convenience store. We were even able to walk to the iconic Togetsu-kyo Bridge. Bonus: He is a setai (body adjustment) doctor. He treated two of our group and they loved it! We definitely recommend staying there!

一戶建的旅居空間很大而且温馨舒適。入住當天我們很晚才到達（晚上10時多才到）但沒想到旅居主人還在等待我們，而且為我們搬行李及打傘，介紹屋內設施。旅居內一應俱全，還有小孩玩具及圖書，還提供很多旅居附近的購物及飲食資訊，寢室很舒適並備有充電插頭，樓梯還裝有小夜燈方便夜間下樓，而且有防滑地毯，洗手間內有毛巾抹手。亦有車位方便自駕人士。意想不到的是竟然有歡迎入住的信，真的非常貼心。性價比非常高，非常適合一家大小，有機會會再次入住，亦會給推介打算造訪大阪的親友。離開時旅居主人夫婦還親自相送！

Such a lovely stay in Kyoto! After the hustle and bustle of Tokyo (and tiny hotel rooms), it was so nice to have a beautiful, quiet, calm space to spread out. A quick walk from the train station and the most perfect backyard is waiting for you with the nicest soaking tub. We ended up doing less than planned so we could enjoy the space more.

We stayed in Jinn’s place for a few nights with our family of 4. The house is located in a calm area of Kyoto, bordering the forest. Only a short walk from a Main Street with busses, so very convenient. Jinn’s communication was great and he gave us many tips on what to do and where to eat. He met us personally on arrival and check out and even did a mini photo shoot of our family in the garden! The house is authentic Japanese style - which was new to us and a great experience. Especially the Onsen bath, low dining table and beds on the floor, together with the Japanese furnishings and art / decor were really nice. The house was clean and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!!

Had THE most wonderful stay at Haruya Guest House. After sending us detailed public transport description, Yumi met us off the bus to walk us to the house with an umbrella. The space was incredible. Very relaxing and we did a gorgeous 6hr hike into the mountains on our full day. Harufumi and Yumi were so helpful and kind, and their pet duck, dog and pigeon really made it for us.

This place was perfect for our group of 5. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and 1 with room for several mattresses. It also had tatami rooms up front so plenty of space. It has a kitchen and dining area in back which was comfortable for sitting, and also has a living room up front. The bathroom and shower and tub were very convenient, as well as the two separate toilets. We also used the laundry. The place is covert accessible to the bus lines. It was perfect.

Rien à redire sur le logement de Keiji-san, très propre et bien placé par rapport aux transports en commun. L'hôte nous a accueilli sur place pour nous donner les instructions, très claires, et nous lui avons également rendu les clés en mains propres au départ. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit de transit mais nous aurions pu y passer plus de temps sans soucis.

Tats is a very nice guy, despite the language barriers, he had an effort to pick me up from the train station to the airbnb, gave me a super detailed guide on the amenities as well as what the location has to offer, during the checkout, we were also offered to be sent to the station Great host will recommend to everyone

This location is great. May is very helpful and responsive. She even offered to help with carrying the luggages. There are many eateries in walking distance. I wish to come back in future.

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en esta casa. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y ordenado, lo cual se agradece mucho al llegar. Me encantó que el inodoro estuviera separado de la ducha, un detalle práctico que suma comodidad. Dormir en un futón fue una experiencia diferente e inolvidable, y tanto este como las camas eran muy cómodas, lo que hizo que descansáramos muy bien. La ubicación es excelente: fácil de localizar y con acceso sencillo. La anfitriona fue súper amable, siempre atenta a nuestras necesidades y hasta nos recomendó lugares geniales para visitar. Lo único a tener en cuenta son las escaleras, que son bastante inclinadas y con escalones pequeños, por lo que hay que tener algo de cuidado. Aun así, la experiencia general fue fantástica. ¡Repetiría sin dudarlo!

Can't beat the location if you want to visit Mt. Inari before or after the crowds. Since the grounds are open 24 hours, you can walk over anytime, day or night. And although the shops and shrine facilities are only staffed from about 9am to 6pm, you are free to walk the torii gates anytime, and it's absolutely surreal after dark. Also right next to a nice bridge over a picturesque river, and very close to a 7-11. Inside, the place is very nice, and certainly would stay there again.

非常满意这次的民宿体验，Harry的房子太优秀了，上下两层，休息和休闲空间分开，配备了投影和音响，房屋内的灯光设计也非常温馨。房子本身是非常传统的日式民居，有一个精致的小院子，同时配置了非常现代化的家电系统，很方便。 Harry本人很nice，来公交车站接我们，还推荐了非常地道的日料，下次来京都会再来住的！

Very spacious guesthouse that could fit 5 people every comfortably with living room, dining room, and kitchen. Sadly only 1 separate bathroom and toilet but we were okay with that as we only had 3 pax. Toilet was also located at level 1 which was less convenient when accessing from the bedrooms at level 2. Stairs were pretty steep too so we had to be be careful. Basic toiletries were provided (towel, shampoo, etc), except for toothbrush and toothpaste. Overall great stay and great value. Only 3mins walk from kintetsu Jujo station. Host was very quick and kind to replace the spoiled kettle. We had a very comfortable stay.
