I love that the place is very near the train station, and there is a convenient storenearby. The location is perfect. Great for solo traveler or 2 person. Value for money. If traveling as a fam with a kid, a dining table would be more perfect.

I was there for 2 nights and found the place to be amazing. It is right next to by metro line which made it convenient to reach all the places we wanted to check out. She was also a gracious host who proactively provided the information and been responsive about the questions. Will recommend.

Charmant studio juste à côté de la rivière, parfait pour des promenades à pied ou en vélo. Je regrette un peu que l’appartement soit loin des commodités, en contrepartie il se trouve dans une zone très calme.

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

After spending a few nights in a hotel in Tokyo it was great to stay at May’s property which was spacious and met all our needs. May’s husband met us at the property and gave us clear instructions and recommendations for local dining options. It was a great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, Nijo Castle and the Nishiki markets. The property had all the amenities advertised and was great to have washing facilities. Thank you for being great hosts!

We stayed in the Gion House Upper Level and it was a great home away from home in Kyoto. The location is perfect: the street it's on is calm and private but it is just a few minutes walk away from many great restaurants in a charming old district of Kyoto. The house maintains the aesthetic of a past era while incorporating a small modern kitchen and a tidy bathroom. There are two bedrooms, one with a comfortable western-style bed and one in Japanese style on the floor, both with nice white bedding. Curtis and team were great to work with and very helpful and responsive when needed. This is a great spot to feel like you live in Kyoto!

Matabi’s stay was ideal for a few days in Kyoto. Very central. Walkable and easy to commute. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

I stayed at Tei's place for a few nights with my partner - the location was great, super convenient for getting to Kyoto Station and also really cool being so close to To-ji, but just far enough off the main road that it was fairly quiet and peaceful at night. Since there were only two of us we only used one bedroom (the one w/tatami mats), but both rooms looked very nice and comfortable. There was some discoloration on the bathroom floor outside the shower, but I think that was just a stain rather than anything to be concerned over. The Airbnb was very clean and neat overall, and the chocolates left on the dining room table were a lovely gift ^-^ I would absolutely stay here next time when I'm back in Kyoto - thank you for a wonderful stay, Tei!

Asia was a super helpful host who provided us with plenty of information and local recommendations. The place was comfortable for the four of us. The property was an easy walk to the train station and other attractions around Kyoto. We would love to stay at this property again in the future!

Can't beat the location if you want to visit Mt. Inari before or after the crowds. Since the grounds are open 24 hours, you can walk over anytime, day or night. And although the shops and shrine facilities are only staffed from about 9am to 6pm, you are free to walk the torii gates anytime, and it's absolutely surreal after dark. Also right next to a nice bridge over a picturesque river, and very close to a 7-11. Inside, the place is very nice, and certainly would stay there again.

Perfect place to stay, very clean, very warm and great location near the stations. The samurai and other Japanese decorations were epic too. Highly recommended

This has to be one of most beautiful and quaint AirBnBs that we have ever stayed in! Amazing traditional home in the heart of Kyoto! Walking distance to the market, many great sites, and public transportation. You cannot forget the outdoor bath! Will definitely stay here again if we get back to Kyoto.

Die schöne Unterkunft von Sakura liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Kyoto entfernt. Bus und Bahn ist also einfach zu erreichen. In der Nähe sind ein Konbini und viele Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war groß und gemütlich. Sakura hatte uns viele Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Betten waren vollkommen in Ordnung und bequem. Die Wände waren etwas dünn und man konnte die Nachbarn hören, das hat aber nicht gestört. Wir fanden es cool wie Toilette und das Bad getrennt waren und dass es viele Kleiderbügel gab ☺️ ich empfehle diese Unterkunft sehr, wenn man mal ein bisschen traditioneller wohnen und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs sein will.

Très bon logement, propre, agréable, spacieux, proche de plusieurs sites d'intérêt, et des transports pour les autres sites à voir. La cuisine est bien equipée. L'avenue sur laquelle donne le logement est assez bruyante, mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles ça va très bien.

This is highly recommended especially if you will be taking the shinkansen throughout your stay in Japan. We arrived in Nagoya and easily went to Shin-osaka to Miki's place, then upon checkout, we'll ride the shinkansen again. So this is very accessible. Plus, its near the JR lines and Midosuji lines, which is what you need to explore Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week-long stay in Kyoto. The main train station is just a few minutes away, but the apartment building is tucked away on a quiet side street. We used the in-room kitchen every morning to prepare breakfast, but also had access to a common kitchen on the main floor. Bathroom was quite spacious and water pressure strong! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.

Ich war sehr zufrieden in Jennys Unterkunft. Die U-Bahn ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen und in der Nähe gibt es einige gute Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen. Ich war durchaus zufrieden!

Ideal place to stay in Kyoto on a budget. There are several bus stops, convenience stores, restaurants and other amenities within walking distance of the building. Despite being located in a densely populated area, the neighbourhood is a very quiet and pleasant place to be. Very responsive and helpful host - within the apartment there is also a useful instruction booklet.

A great space in a great spot. Less than a 3 minute walk from a Family Mart which is great for breakfast, snacks and basic items. 10 minute walk to the station which had both subway and JR lines for quick and easy access to the rest of Kyoto. Nice quiet neighborhood, nice rooms with good closet space. Jacky was very friendly and helpful.
