Lake Bunyonyi : locations de vacances adaptées aux animaux

This is a really perfect spot if you want to check out Volcanoes National Park without breaking the bank. There can be a real lack of affordable accommodation for tourists in the area and this, as a two-bedroom house with small communal room and secure parking, is absolutely perfect. Saved us a fortune, and it was nice to get back from a rainy day's trekking and have that space to unwind in. Janvier and Anne-Marie really went out of their way, even helping us to order take-out from a local restaurant when we didn't feel like going out. They helped explain the route to the park entrance as we were off to see the golden monkeys. And there were lots of little touches in the house, like biscuits, a hairdryer, shampoo - anything you might have forgotten to bring. They were also very flexible about check out. Really so glad we decided to give it a try, and planning to go back as it's just down the road from Crema coffee shop which is the pick-up spot for canoeing Mukungwa River.

This guesthouse is a lovely option on lake Bunyonyi. It is very private and located in a beautiful location. The internal space is a touch dark but very spacious and comfy. The kitchen works well and eating outside overlooking the lake is lleinderful. Please note that the bathroom is located outside the property in a separate structure. In addition, you will need to self cater and bring all supplies with you. The caretaker is a nice guy who can help with everything but it may help with communication if you can speak rukiga. Otherwise, highly recommended.

La casa es muy cómoda, eres del pueblo pero es una zona muy tranquila. Los jardines son muy amplios. El lago Bunyonyi apenas está a 8 kms.

Amazing place to rest and contemplate the Ruhondo lake and surrounding volcanoes. the banana House is cozy and with well decorated interior, we loved it!

We felt like home all the time! The staff was extraordinarily friendly! We never had so many nice conversations since travelling through countries. The experiences we made were amazing. The Karungi-Camp Team will fulfill all your dreams. We had the chance to go to an international wedding, join a soccer match, hike though the area, get to know alot of the village and be a part of it. Thank you so much! My wife and I enjoyed two peaceful nights in Jörn's Avocado Tree House. We loved getting the boat over and back each time on Lake Ruhondo. As well as the lovely tree house, we went kayaking to the local islands, did a hike up the hill with Augustine to see The Twin Lakes and went for a swim in the lake. The local restaurant (2 minutes walk) served delicious dinners and even made us sandwiches for our hike. We even got to meet Jörn, who was as welcoming and helpful in person as online. We would 100% recommend the tree house and we will hopefully come back again!
