We enjoyed our stay at the lake. This has been our practice for the last 6 years to go to the lake after the holiday rush. The cabin was lovely, clean, well stocked and we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

Wow! Felt like being at a friend’s house. So well maintained, decorated nicely, with quality furnishings, linens, bedding, and kitchen supplies. Beautiful surroundings walking the neighborhood, using the hot tub, and sitting in the Adirondacks down by the water in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It was the perfect spot for relaxing ladies weekend.

Stayed for work. Very nice cozy cottage, was great place to make home away from home at the end of the day.

One of the better Airbnb's my family and I have stayed in, definitely need to read the directions to get there first but once you know it, it's easy to come and go. With some carriers you'll have no signal and there is no internet there, but if you don't mind that it's a great experience. From the house it's about 15 mins to Folkston, 30 mins to Callahan, 1 hr to central Jacksonville, and 10 mins to the Okefenokee swamp entrance, you can book kayaking, boat, and tours in advance. Great place for an semi-isolated family stay.

As a horse person - I figured I would really enjoy staying at a horse farm. Some may think a horse farm cottage would be too rustic or smell like horses… not this place! Absolutely gorgeous interior design with everything that I would need for my stay. Very clean & comfy! The kitchen is nicer than the one I have in my house and I was really sad that I had to leave. The views of the horses in their paddocks really added to my love for this property. I whole heartedly recommend this cottage for horse & non-horse lovers 😊😊😊

Kristina and Beth, who managed the property, were the kindest and most pleasant hosts. They made us feel right at home and let us wander around the property anytime we liked. The horses, cows, chickens, and especially the dogs, were so much fun. We could interact with them as little or as much as we preferred. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We had a fabulous time! It was a great peaceful getaway and we can't wait to come back! One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!

I can't say enough positive things about this gorgeous place on Star Lake. It was exactly as described. There were clear directions before and during our stay. The host was very responsive. It is well-supplied and very comfortable. The furniture is gorgeous. We felt right at home. Hearing the sounds of birds and listening to the windchimes out on the screened in area on the dock was so relaxing. We really enjoyed being on this beautiful, quiet lake away from the hustle and bustle of our life. The colors at sunrise and sunset were magical. Despite being in such a serene location, it is only 30 min to Gainesville's restaurants and shopping and it is 30-60 min to many nature destinations. There is a very helpful notebook with the host's suggestions provided. My husband and I recommend this property without hesitation.

Wonderful stay, the cottage was so inviting, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property is just beautiful. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and breakfast. The hosts were extremely nice and very responsive. I forgot some jewelry in the cottage, and they contacted me to let me know and offered to send it.

Gerardo was the most responsive and helpful host we have ever had! Extremely friendly and accommodating. The private location is exactly what we were looking for during our visit to FL. The natural springs at Ichetucknee state park was minutes away and a surprise addition to our trip. We will definitely come back in the future!

From the moment we arrived at the cottage, we felt instant nostalgia. This farm stay brought back memories of childhood retreats and gave our kids an unforgettable experience. The host’s thoughtful touches—from fresh eggs and linens to a personal barn tour and hayride—made us feel right at home. The animals, especially the gentle bull Trouble and Sammy the paint horse, stole our hearts. Mornings were peaceful with coffee and roosters, and the kids were never bored, enjoying the pool, hot tub, swings, games, and even axe throwing. Our final night’s campfire under softly glowing lights was the perfect sendoff. The sounds of owls and laughter created lasting memories. This was the first stress-free vacation we’ve had as parents, and we left feeling like family. Life Renewal Ranch is more than 5 stars—it’s a place we’ll never forget. Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

We had a great and relaxing stay at Wendy’s place. Everything was as described and Wendy was very communicative from the start. Our family enjoyed hanging out and grilling on the back porch looking out at the lake. The sunsets are truly incredible. We had a blast fishing from the dock at sunrise and sunset and managed to catch n’ release quite a few bass. I personally enjoyed walking out barefoot to the dock early mornings/evenings to have my coffee/cocktail while doing some fishing. We will definitely be back soon.

From the moment I began interacting with Deborah I knew why she had so many excellent reviews. She was extremely helpful and responsive. And the cottage was everything you would need and more. Deborah paid so much attention to detail. From The fresh flowers in every room, the comfortable beds, the fully stocked kitchen and a fun area to play cornhole and grill in the backyard. We felt right at home and would highly recommend her place to everyone.

Stayed here for 3 nights while we in the area. Super cute very clean modern updated interior. Kitchen is good size with everything you might need. Easy TV to stream all the apps. Very nice big back porch with peaceful view of huge trees. Across the street are horses in fields and that is great too. 10 minutes to Silver Springs, 20 minutes from cute downtown Ocala with lots of restaurants, 30 minutes to Gainesville. Would definitely recommend!

Great location. The house is beautiful on the inside. The outside is absolutely gorgeous. pics are beautiful but in person is just amazing. My only complaint it I had to leave.lol Will stay again..

Had a great time again, this was our 2nd time with Quint. Missed the dock but glad that was the most damage you got from the hurricanes. Hope you will be whole again soon. Hope to see you again next year.
