Very clean and home was as described. Very walkable to nearby restaurants

This place is gorgeous and would be my dream house. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and clean. The living room furniture is super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. One thing to note is there is only 1 air conditioner for the whole place. It works really well but you have to leave open the bedroom doors otherwise the rooms get warm. If you have snorers in the family beware. You can’t really open the doors or windows at night because it’s tropical and so many bugs come in. I think providing a fan for the rooms would be nice. It’s a minor thing but something people may want to know. It really is a beautiful place and I wish I could live there.

The lookout is a beautiful family home with an exciting surrounding. Given the location the house is a bit humid, but we'll equipped for adults and kids as well. The hiking trails are very close and Rebecca has great advices for places to visit. We had a great time staying here! :) thank you for all!

Wir haben einen Nacht in der Hütte von Cathryn verbracht. Die Hütte erinnert an eine Almhütte in den bayerischen Alpen (unserer ursprünglichen Heimat). Uns hat der Aufenthalt dort sehr gut gefallen, die Kinder hatten Spielsachen zum spielen befinden (Puzzle, Bücher, Brettspiele, etc.) und einen Baum zum klettern. Der Kamin lässt sich gut einheizen und man hat eine angenehme Wärme in der Hütte. Der Hinweis auf den Bach in der Begrüßungsmappe war prima, den mussten wir natürlich auch erkunden. Ein Spielplatz und eine Wasserrutsche (Neoprenanzug empfehlenswert) ist ebenfalls in der Nähe und man ist ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto bei den Castle Hill Felsen. Prima Unterkunft für eine Familie. Prima erreichbar in etwas über einer Stunde von Christchurch.

Exceeded expectations. Accurately described. Full kitchen which allowed member of party with severe feed allergies to cook his own food. Spotless and lots of space. Corinne and Stefan are great hosts. Would stay again without hesitation.

A fantastic place to unwind and enjoy nature. We can’t recommend it enough.

A hidden gem of a place. Spacious rooms, large very well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, very modern amenities. Luxurious linens and toiletries that you’d find in a 5 star resort added to the comfort. Tracy is a wonderful host and thought of everything to make our stay special and was readily available for any request. The mountain views are breathtaking. And, amazing stars on a clear night. Peaceful and quiet, away from the hustling crowds.

Perfect for what we needed. Super homey and Steve was super thoughtful and helpful.
