Staying here was great!! Everything was clean, the furniture and decorations were nice and comforting, and it was very spacious! Amazing place to stay for a group of friends or family; there were games in the living room, a large dining table, back porch and a patio with a grill. If I’m ever in need of a place to stay again in that area this is definitely my first pick!!

Worked out well for a quick trip. Close to everything we needed including grocery store and restaurants. Very nice walking trail nearby, be sure to check it out. Host was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. Internet service was good and kitchen was well equipped.

This apartment is cute and matched the photos and listing description. Lana was kind and responsive and graciously accommodated a late check out. We will stay here again whenever we need to visit family in the area.

This was the perfect stay for a weekend trip to Chicago! Free parking was always available, the check-in process was a breeze, and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of exploring the city. The train being close to the airbnb didn’t bother us at all. The neighborhood felt safe, and the nearby beach is a must see if you stay here!! Overall, our stay was phenomenal and Nick was beyond kind! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

No complaints, everything was great and as described. Very quiet and safe. Apartment was very clean and very nice. Absolutely no negatives to mention.

The place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. A peaceful neighborhood with a lot to offer .

We had an absolutely lovely time! We took a family trip and the house was perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids. The beach was super close to walk to. The large house was perfect for everyone to have their own space. The spacious living room/kitchen was a great place to spend family time cooking, playing games, eating, etc where we could all be together but doing separate things. There were plenty of towels for everyone for that many days which surprised me! Inga had thought of everything! There was all the extras you might need too like cooking basics, sunscreen, flashlight, bug spray, beach chairs, toys, umbrellas! And the espresso machine was also a hit with our family! Thank you so much Inga for having us!! We made memories that will last a lifetime in your beautiful home!

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

A Lake Michigan beachfront vacation doesn't get any easier than this! An hour or less drive from Chicago, you can check into your own cottage right on the Indiana Dunes National Park and of course the expansive beach! This unique beach house has lovingly grown throughout the years. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry stations for an extended family or group trip, but could also work for a smaller group or couple. We used the bar room and cozied up in the living room enjoying the view! There are multiple patios and a private path to the beach. Parking fits up to 6 cars on-site. Do not expect boring sayings on the walls or basic Ikea dishes. Instead enjoy taking in the 100’s of books on the walls, grandmother’s china now for everyday use, unique art on the walls or ponder upon the strange layout of some of the rooms.

Lavette’s home was literally a home away from home. We fell in love with the decor it literally was perfect! And to Top it off she was a perfect host responded promptly and professionally.

Perfect stay for our young family - plenty of space, beautiful home. Hope to come back! Loved having a garage as our cars were protected during a severe storm 👍

This host was amazing to communicate with and was willing to help us get in a bit early since we were in town earlier than planned. The house had everything it said and more. The house is very nice with lots of new updates and amenities throughout. It had plenty of space for our group (5 adults and a dog) with plenty of room to spare. We felt very comfortable staying in this home. The price was also very reasonable for the quality and space! We would recommend this property to anyone in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The weather wasn't ideal but the home was so nice we just enjoyed hanging out there. And the view was still beautiful with the rain. Also we did go in the Chicago via the train for a fun day. The train station is within 10 minutes.
