Wonderful place. Beautiful views of Lake Superior.

Two friends and I stayed here for Grandma’s Marathon weekend. The condo is about 30 minutes from the start, which worked out perfectly. The condo is exactly as described, directly on Lake Superior with the most gorgeous views from the living room and master bedroom. We loved that each room has its own bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen for making our own meals. The indoor pool and sauna are a very short walk from the unit and are very clean and well maintained. There is a bike path that intersects with the condo’s driveway, which goes along the water and is separate from the road. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything about this airbnb was great! We enjoyed the location next to Lake Superior, and then its location on the north shore made it easy to make a day trip to Grand Marais and make stops along the shore. Our only complaint for the Airbnb was the lack of parking. There was not assigned parking spots, and we only got a park spot of the nights we stayed.

Highly recommend this stay. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. The home itself was extremely comfortable and in a gorgeous location. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing view, beautiful space. We loved the jacuzzi, hot tub, pool and sauna.

We really enjoyed our stay! The lake view from the living room was fantastic and the space is very comfortable. Access to hiking in the area is easy and the facilities at the resort were in great shape. They even have little boards with info on the areas history which we found charming. I'd recommend this space to anyone looking for an outdoorsy cabin vacation!

This home is absolutely beautiful. The interior design had a unique flow that took your breath away from the minute you walk inside. The views are outstanding and being perfectly tucked into nature yet close enough to the main attractions made the stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were amazing. Very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

We had a large group in town to visit family, and this space was perfect for our stay. The main level, a former bar and restaurant, provided plenty of room to relax and catch up. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and the beds were comfortable. While there’s only one small walk-in shower, it worked just fine for our needs. The place was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with.

Large, very private spot close to many activities. Responsive hostess made us very comfortable.

This place was really amazing and we would love to come back one day. Very cozy and spacious, with a beautiful backyard.

The accommodations were very comfortable and conveniently located. We brought our mountain bikes and Chad helped us secure them when we weren't using them which was nice and appreciated. Located on Highway 61 but the traffic and noise were not a bother, and the proximity to hiking and biking trails (both paved and off-road) were a plus. It might be a little snug if you have more than two people and spend a lot of time inside, but my partner and I were very comfortable and easily made ourselves at home. I am not a coffee drinker but she is and said the options Chad provided were very tasty. The space is newly remodeled and it sounds like Chad is continuing to finish things off in terms of trim, etc., but as it sits now we found it to be very cozy and relaxing. We would definitely book again or recommend to friends staying in the area. Thank you, Chad!

My family and I came up to Duluth for the President’s Day weekend and we had a wonderful time! We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for my family of eight! We loved listening to the waves of Lake Superior hitting the shoreline. The home was clean and very cozy! This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again. Angela was very accommodating from pre-check in all the way through check out! I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay up on the North Shore of Lake Superior!

We decided to have a microwedding here at Hale House with around 20 people in attendance. Since the house can hold a good number of those guests in the first place, we thought it was a great match. Lindsay was SO helpful and recommended so many local vendors we ended up using throughout celebrations. We also had six of our guests stay with us in the house and felt like the space accomodated all of us perfectly. All our guests kept commenting how lovely the space was and how unique and beautiful it was. It was easy to walk into town for our more able-bodied guests, fit all of us well, and made a perfect backdrop to a perfect day. Neither of us could have chosen a better spot. Would recommend to anyone staying in Bayfield and we will definitely be back.

Wonderfully located property! We walked all around Bayfield. Very close to Ferry's for cruises and Madeline Island. The property is beautiful and worked great for our group of seven adults. Well appointed kitchen. We spent every night out on the wrap around porch facing the lake.

This was - hands down - one of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were very comfortable at the Corny Pad. It was clean, spacious, and had a lot of amenities. Given we vacationed when a lot of restaurants either shut down for the year or reduced their hours, the large, well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook meals with local ingredients that we purchased in Cornucopia and Bayfield. The Internet service is extremely fast. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. We luggage racks and large, walk-in closet were very convenient. (We did not use the second bedroom.) As a bonus, we had a wonderful view of the Northern Lights from the Corny Pad's parking spot. Lastly, Cornucopia is conveniently located by many good hiking spots and is a relatively short drive to Bayfield and Washburn. In summary, Esme thought of everything we needed to have a relaxing and stress-free stay on Lake Superior's south shore.

Kara’s house is every bit as beautiful as what you see in the listing pictures. Everything that a guest needs is there, including labeled light switches and a kitchen that is nicely equipped. We slept very well on the comfortable beds. I could go on and on. My family and I would be thrilled to stay at Kara’s house again.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very nice and worked well for our small family group. Whitney was so responsive and the house was clean and lovingly taken care of. We really liked being right in Cornucopia where we could walk to the general store, to the coffee shop and the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back yard. We hope to return!

This was a comfortable stay for my family. It’s convenient to local attractions. We were able to lock up our bikes in the garage.
