Very grateful for the stay. Will be coming back and have referred this place already. Ted's communication and responsiveness was truly amazing. Photos don't do it justice. Must see it and stay to appreciate it.

We have been coming to the Captain's Quarters for many years now and would recommend it as a cosy, warm (in winter) and totally private space to stay. We mostly go for New Year and what I remember from this last visit was the lovely warm interior waiting for us when we arrived off the evening ferry with the table laid for dinner and relaxing music playing in the background. Henny is always incredibly welcoming, generous and friendly to her guests.

We have stayed here MANY times, and it has been a wonderful stay each and every time. Fiona and Gerry are excellent hosts, and have thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable as possible. It’s a peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere. Could not recommend more!! Five stars every time.

The house is in an amazing location, with plenty of space for our family with 3 kids, and room to spare. Peter and Larry were super responsive and helpful and made sure we felt right at home. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

We had the most lovely visit at Mason’s place. Despite it raining a huge chunk of our visit, we had everything we needed in the house and the location was magical 🤩 Every time we wandered to the beach (water access with the house), there were cozy spots to chill and enjoy the sea life. We saw SO many seals, sea lions and otters along with all the birds. We would LOVE to come back when the weather was warmer to go swimming in the water and soak up the amazing views even more.

We had a fantastic stay at Marlena’s place. The home is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared - we especially enjoyed the ping pong table, the lovely welcome basket, and the relaxing hot tub. The surrounding area and nearby beaches are serene and stunning. Thank you, Marlena, for such a wonderful and memorable visit!

I would definitely stay here again. The view was so beautiful - big windows and deck to enjoy the ocean and forest views. The place was spotless, with nice furnishings and decor and the layout was perfect for our group of two moms and 4 teens/pre-teens. We loved that there was a TV/games room downstairs where the kids could hang out while we enjoyed the quiet upstairs. Great to have two sofa beds too for flexible sleeping arrangements. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. There’s so much to do in the area around here.

Our stay at Gavin’s place was perfect. We had plenty of room for our group. The house was comfortable, well appointed, comfortable beds and had everything we needed and more. Gavin was super responsive to all my questions, he is a great host. Thank you Gavin! Highly recommend this home when staying in Shawnigan Lake. Lots to do, and we had fun adventuring around. Would love to come back in the summer.

This is an AMAZING place for a couple’s retreat! We felt so welcome and right at home during our stay! Louis and Tasha are wonderful hosts and they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a wonderful experience for their guests

Billie’s place was the perfect spot for a trip to Salt Spring Island. Really appreciated the welcome, orientation of the suite and local recommendations. I’d love to stay again and will definitely recommend!

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

Beautiful home the house was stocked with all the basics in kitchen and bathroom-nice outdoor space. Host was super responsive to my technology challenged brain. It was peaceful and loved the pool, pool table and games great family fun! A+

We had a lovely time staying in Tammy’s home. It was really clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. She is very responsive and we were able to check in a bit early on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the water from the patio. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has a tennis court, lots of grills, one campfire pit, dock for crabbing or boats, beach for clamming. The property is very well kept. Thanks again Tammy for such a lovely stay!

What a beautiful place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the view was incredible and it was so relaxing. The queen bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t great. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jason and Andrea were easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. The area where the unit is was clean, the park was fun for my girls to play at and the hot tub was lovely! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a great stay!

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Meagan was a very accommodating and flexible host, the location was great and the space was everything we could ask for as a crew working out of town. I would have no issues with staying here again. There’s a gorgeous lake within walking distance and the area is nice and quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. Julie and John thoughtfully provided everything you could want and more in a peaceful weekend away. We really enjoyed the extra-long soaker bathtub and sipping our morning coffees on the porch listening to the stream flowing. Cozying up by the fireplace with our books was another delight. The location was wonderful, less than 10 minutes from both the ferry terminal and the nearest town, Sidney by the Sea. We'd definitely consider returning someday.

Our group of friends comes to Mushroom Manor every year and it is our most well loved tradition. We love having game nights in the living room, spending time in the sauna, enjoying the views and the sunroom. It’s an amazing place and feels like home. Hosts are very communicative and helpful and the location is great, very close to Ganges. All the unique details make it a super special place.

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Gaye and Len's recently! Gaye and Len were perfect hosts and very accommodating. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy and a perfect size for 1-2 people. It's quite well equipped and we had all our needs met! The surroundings are beautiful and conveniently close to groceries and many other amenities within walking distance! We'd be happy to stay there again someday if possible but in the meantime we will be recommending this stay to anyone looking for a Vancouver Island getaway!

Wonderful place for a big group to stay. 4 rooms with queen beds, each room has its own bathroom, and there’s even a common bathroom in the common area. Very clean and nice place.

Worked perfectly for an overnight stay for 2 people. Lots of space and well set up.

Bluebell’s cottage was the perfect place to stay for the weekend with close proximity to Ganges. It had a beautiful and private garden. When I reached out to Stephanie to let us know our approximate arrival time, I asked about whether fire wood was provided for the wood stove. It was and when we arrived a fire was already started, waiting for us. The kitchen was well appointed and included supplies for coffee and tea and some snacks. I look forward to coming back to this cottage again in the future.
