What a fabulous little getaway! The bed was really nice, small and cozy, but secluded. It was a wonderful place to stay. Make sure you read the instructions about the Flue on the fireplace if you use it! I didn't (typical dude and after watching my fire go out almost instantly, only then did I read the instructions and find the flue handle so that the fireplace could breath. Bring a hatchet/axe if you plan to use the fireplace. I would stay here again 100%!

This is the real deal... As a guest you will normally walk into a confusing situation but Jason's attention to the simple things "Labels" helped us immediately become comfortable with our surroundings. The property was very private and the enclose that Jason setup allowed our dog run free without any stress to us. If you're looking to disconnect this is the place.

Very nice private, spacious and quite home, You will see a lot of wild life across the span of 2 days I saw 15 deer and about 40 wild turkeys on the property, John is very responsive and has back up power if the power ever goes out, there was heavy winds that knocked out the power for the neighborhood but we never noticed because the power was always on for us. I highly recommend this cabin for a getaway from the city

We were so blessed to stay at Patricia's place! The perfect weekend anniversary getaway. Beautiful views, so close to town but felt remote. Equipped with cozy wood burning stove, clean bathroom, cozy beds, and we even saw some deer walking through the property. The views from the front room are BEAUTIFUL! We would absolutely stay again. It felt like a "home away from home." Patricia was so easy to get a hold of and the check in process was a breeze. Highly recommend :)

Cassandra’s cabin is just wonderful. The location is so peaceful, yet close to town. The playground was the best for our kiddos and our dog enjoyed her snuggling on the dog beds. House is big and was pristine clean. Cassandra was very helpful and flexible, we will be back, thank you!

This place was great and Matt was an amazing host. Matt was very communicative and very helpful every step of the way. Matt went above and beyond and made sure the driveway was shoveled from the previous night's snow and even checked with the checkpoint to ensure we were still able to get up before we had left. The place itself is beautiful, all amenities are as described and work perfectly. They go above and beyond and provide toiletries, coffee, tea, creamers, and a whole gambit of things that I don't have room to list here. The yard is beautiful with a nice hot tub and bonfire that work fantastically. The lighting outside is beautiful and it being connected to automation helps so we don't forget about it when we head to bed. The inside of the property was extremely clean and decorated very well. All bedrooms were comfy and had plenty of places to put clothes and very spacious and kitchen stocked. Overall, I felt like I was at home, and was a nice touch on a great weekend!

Wonderful cabin, close to Julian proper, but just up the road to be quiet with nature all around. Loved the upstairs bedroom en suite bathroom. Great deck and fireplace setup!

Adorable cabin with incredible views! We came for an impromptu getaway and it was just the escape we needed. The location was absolutely perfect! Felt so private and secluded, but was always super convenient to downtown Julian and Ramona. Can’t wait to return!

The house is exactly as in the pictures - a beautiful, spacious cabin that has everything for a quiet family getaway. The view from the dining room and the deck is breathtaking. You can watch the sunset, look at the stars and the moon or drink your morning coffee while enjoying the view. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a gas grill (We couldn't find tin foil though). They have Nest thermostat so we didn't have any problems with the house being cold (quite the opposite actually, we had to adjust the temp for the second night as it was pretty warm and dry during our first night there). The location of the house is a bit far from restaurants/cafes, etc. (if you're looking for that), but it would be just right for those who are coming to reboot and enjoy peace and quietness (or have a family gathering). There is Lake Cuyamaca just a short drive from the cabin that has a picturesque trail on Fletcher Island. We enjoyed our short stay and hope to come back in the future.

Lovely stay for couple or a family. Easy access to trails and restaurants. Private and cozy. This is our second time staying at Shantel’s cabin and we will definitely be back!

Even though the road to the stay was a little bumpy and I do not recommend traveling there after dark as the roads are very windy and a bit difficult to see if you do not have the proper vehicle but once you get there it is a beautiful place. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Came here for a getaway trip to relax - and genuinely one of the most coziest and relaxing places I've been to. This place is a gem and I highly recommend anyone to check it out if they want to get away from city. Rob was also an amazing, responsive host, thank you!

A wonderful place in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the balcony. The home was warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. Kathleen made it real easy to check in. And instructions for everything were clear. Loved the fireplace! And our pups did too!

Cabin #9 felt like a retreat . . . surrounded by woodland with views of the valley, fresh flowers greeting me in the kitchen, Keurig coffeemaker & coffee provided, wood for the wood stove, instant hot water and large shower with great water pressure, WiFi & TV with streaming access, close to Santa Ysabel, Julian (the Julian Pie Company😋) and the wildflowers of Anza-Borrego. The onsite host responded immediately and was so gracious in welcoming me when I had a question. Upon leaving I appreciated the reminder of check-out instructions which were minimal. A real gem that I’ll be back for.

Cozy little stay with everything you need for a weekend away! Everything was immaculately clean and adorably decorated. Can be a little tricky to find after dark. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Nice private location, it was close enough to the Main Street in Julian but private enough for a quiet getaway!

John and Sara Leslie were fantastic hosts. Check-in went very smoothly, and the house was just as described. When we did have a question or two, John responded immediately with a recommendation or an answer. The house was quiet and private, and it was a nice getaway from our hectic lives. My wife had a little break from her chemotherapy treatments. We hiked Lake Cuyamaca and saw geese, condors, and a bald eagle, and we spent time in the quaint downtown. This was a perfect getaway for my wife and I with our newborn. The cabin is modern, has incredible views of the vineyard, where you're only steps from wine tasting and wood fired pizza. The area in general has alot of wineries and bikes nearby. The place was quiet, picturesque and good value. I would definitely come back here again.

Jill was a great host and very responsive. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to prepare a Christmas Day meal. The beds were comfortable. The town ofJulian was very nice with bakeries and of course the well known bake pies. The restaurant, Jeremy’s on the Hill, were very accommodating and we could sit on the patio, that had heaters, with our small dogs.
