I was passing through the area and needed a place to stay the night. It was a late night check in and Megan was very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and quiet. I would most definitely stay here again.

This cozy stay is perfect if you are wanting to be close to Canton Trade Days or just near Canton's business district in general. The king bed is super comfy and everything was extremely clean. The owners respond very quickly if you have any concerns. We wiill stay here again when back in town.

My family of 7 stayed at this place for 2 days and we did not have to leave to get anything. There were pots and pans for us to cook the groceries we brought. Coffee and creamer was already there. There was even seasonings and a first aid kit!! My kids loved the bunk room. It had everything kids need to stay entertained. It was raining the first day we arrived but there was so much entertainment in the house that it didn’t matter. We swam in the pool, went fishing, and played games all in the backyard!! If you’re second guessing this place, don’t! Treat yourself and don’t cheat yourself! This place is a little piece of paradise! We would definitely stay again!!

We came here for a couple nights while on a family trip. Overall, we definitely enjoyed ourselves. If you want to see the lake you have to walk or drive at least a quarter mile which isn’t bad. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the house could stand a good cleaning. It wasn’t very clean but we still had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves. The yard wasnt kept up but someone came and mowed it while we were gone one day. Overall, a really cute little place to stay.

What an amazing place! My sisters and I enjoyed everything about this home from being stocked with every thinkable appliance to the overall comfort of each bed and seating area! Not to mention the LAND itself; a few of us took a 45 minute walk on the property and we're in awe of nature's beauty! This place is A GEM and Angela is a gracious host! If you're looking for peace, comfort, and solitude, this is your place!

We were extremely impressed with the home and the host. The house is amazing and is very beautiful inside and out. Communication with Brian was smooth, friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Great place with a nice pool. Though we were all adult women, you could see there were lots of amenities if children were there. Loved the large dining table for meals. And great layout for conversing with your group, but then having the peace and solitude of one of four spacious bedrooms. Lovely home and fresh coffee beans were such a nice welcoming feel.

The spacious living area is perfect for gathering with family, while the large windows provide stunning views of the lake, especially at sunset. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is another highlight, featuring a lovely patio, a fire pit for evening gatherings, and direct access to the lake for fishing and kayaking. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I recommend the Lake House. If you're looking for a getaway, a family vacation, or a fun trip with friends, this place has it all. I can't wait to return for another wonderful escape!

Great place and location. Loved all the deer and birds. Beautiful view from the back porch. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Great location and close to several towns we wanted to visit. Will definitely book again when we visit the area.

I don’t have the words to describe how welcoming and wonderful our stay was at Auntie Anna’s! Felicia was the absolute best host we’ve ever had and greatly impacted the experience. The property description does not do the home justice! It was a beautiful peaceful retreat that we cannot wait to go back to! Felicia was very attentive to any questions we had and provided solutions or recommendations right away. We were able to soak in the peace while watching the chickens stroll the yard in the evenings and drive the short distance into town to Sulfur Springs for restaurants and shopping during the day! If you ever have the chance to stay at Auntie Anna’s PLEASE DO, you will not regret it! The icing on the cake were her amazing cinnamon rolls we received on Tuesday morning of our stay! From the moment we walked it we felt at home, thank you so much Felicia!

This is our 5th time staying here and it is always wonderful. We has such a great girls weekend cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the patio. Even though this time we watched more TV because it rained the whole weekend. It was still relaxing. Looked forward to next year. Thank you Joel.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was perfect for 7 adults and a child, so much room and equipped with everything you might need. We also loved the outdoor amenities and spent most of our time outside because of them! Would definitely stay here again!

This has been a treasure! I travel to the area to visit family and accommodations are few and far between. I just love the clean and private little house surrounded by the east Texas countryside. The home is brand new with every convenience. I will be returning again soon.

Our stay at Pecan Acres was excellent. From the friendly and kind communications, to being welcomed after a long day of travel with a warm and cozy home, we truly enjoyed our stay. The home is well-appointed with many thoughtful touches to make you feel comfortable and at home. The peach jam and pickles… scrumptious! We hope to return for another stay soon!

So happy to have found the perfect Tawakoni Lake Front-house, as we absolutely just loved our first stay there. Located in a peaceful, quiet, neighborhood it was such a perfect spot for our fishing/ mini-family reunion. I’m kinda of a clean freak but, I was so very pleased and also relieved to find the home neat & tidy. Our only regret was not booking for a full week instead of our 3 nights. The host Ceci was super helpful, friendly and so quick to respond to all of our questions that it made a real ‘epic’ trip. We will return! MC

We enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for our weekend trip to Canton Trade Days. The location was peaceful and quiet yet close enough to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The home was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Very clean and inviting. Upon walking in the fireplace was on and the heat was on (cold evening), the home smelled very nice, and we were greeted with small chocolates on the dining room table. The owner (or manager) of this home took great care to make sure it met high standards. The contact person was quick to respond to any questions we had. However, most of the information regarding the house was in a website that was shared with us. The home is in walking distance of a private corner of Lake Tawakoni with a community pier. Great for fishing or just hanging out. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend.
