The house was really nice and cute. Overlooking a pond, we enjoyed spending time on the patio. Even thought it rained all weekend, we enjoyed the indoors. Spacious and cozy. The owners were so easy to communicate with. And clear directions were provided. Definitely returning when the weather odds drier and warmer. We also went to Canton one day. It was really close.

We were in the area for wedding and this place looked like a peaceful place to stay. The drawback is that you are out away from most establishments. The place was everything we expected. Thanks!

My family of 7 stayed at this place for 2 days and we did not have to leave to get anything. There were pots and pans for us to cook the groceries we brought. Coffee and creamer was already there. There was even seasonings and a first aid kit!! My kids loved the bunk room. It had everything kids need to stay entertained. It was raining the first day we arrived but there was so much entertainment in the house that it didn’t matter. We swam in the pool, went fishing, and played games all in the backyard!! If you’re second guessing this place, don’t! Treat yourself and don’t cheat yourself! This place is a little piece of paradise! We would definitely stay again!!

The Bullfrog Retreat was nice and we felt at home. We were able to cook all our meals and spend time at the dock. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Donna was super responsive and answered all our questions promptly.

The house was just as described and pictured. I will stay here again. Linda was very helpful and quick to respond. She even has resources for fishing guides there on the lake. She was a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you Linda for making our trip easy.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was perfect for 7 adults and a child, so much room and equipped with everything you might need. We also loved the outdoor amenities and spent most of our time outside because of them! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place and location. Loved all the deer and birds. Beautiful view from the back porch. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Great location and close to several towns we wanted to visit. Will definitely book again when we visit the area.

Chris' place is amazing. The peaceful surroundings were so relaxing! Even though I'm pretty sure Sasquatch must be hiding in those woods (kidding). The house itself is bigger than the photos show. The bed is super comfy. And that bathtub!!!!! We definitely plan to book this pace whenever we are in the area visiting family.

Terri has an awesome set up here. Doesn’t matter if you’re fishing or just needing a place to stay, this is the rental for you. It has an awesome boat/fisherman setup. It includes covered boat parking with pull down extension cords, steps to get in your boat, and plenty of parking. The inside is amazing as well. Plenty of top notch recliners to relax in after fishing all day. And the best part was having 6 separate beds! We will definitely be back and would highly, highly recommend Terri’s place to anyone!

This home was absolutely amazing, it was a home away from home and it was so inviting and relaxing. The host and the co host were very nice and responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had. We Arrived a little early and we were allowed to enter after communicating with them. My fiancé fished and caught silver bass which we had for dinner. My teen daughters loved there rooms and could care less about leaving. I would definitely be back to visit when it’s not so much rain and we can really thoroughly enjoy all the amenities. Fishing in the rain was cool but watching me on a kayak/canoe would be a lot more entertaining lol. Dollar General and Family Dollar are close by for quick items and Duck Cove is cool for fishing needs the lady working in the store was nice. The food in the area also was not that bad, however if you get a chance go to the harbor in Rockwall it was nice! Thank you both for having us and allowing my little family worry free relaxation away from home.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed while still offering peace and quiet. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with stunning views that made every morning feel like a retreat. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Super cute place! This home is tucked into a neighborhood close to Lake Tawakoni and close to boat ramps. Ideal for what we needed. Parking in the front is limited to smaller vehicles, but with a little creativity and some old school Tetris skills, parking bigger vehicles can be achieved. The home has fresh modern updates. All the amenities you can think of and plenty of space for 5 adults. The backyard is huge! We totally enjoyed that space sitting around the fire-pit. The absolute chef's kiss is the immediate response from the host.

This home was refreshed recently and all the amenities were in perfect condition. We especially loved the bidet :) The road within the community could use some pothole repair but otherwise it was a pleasure to stay at Heather's. She was extremely responsive and flexible when we needed to extend one day. We were conveniently located near the new large boat launch to meet our fishing guide. Loved it!

We stayed for a weekend after thanksgiving and what a perfect way to unwind before going back to work and school. It's peaceful out there and the views of the lake and the night sky are beautiful. 10/10 would stay again

The house was very clean and has everything we needed. It has lots of room for parking. It also had a great dock for fishing! It is a little bit of a walk from the house to the dock.

So happy to have found the perfect Tawakoni Lake Front-house, as we absolutely just loved our first stay there. Located in a peaceful, quiet, neighborhood it was such a perfect spot for our fishing/ mini-family reunion. I’m kinda of a clean freak but, I was so very pleased and also relieved to find the home neat & tidy. Our only regret was not booking for a full week instead of our 3 nights. The host Ceci was super helpful, friendly and so quick to respond to all of our questions that it made a real ‘epic’ trip. We will return! MC

We came here for the seclusion and the fishing! Beautiful place, very secluded and peaceful. The largemouth in these lakes were unbelievable. We will be back.

My husband & I brought both our families out here for our wedding weekend. It was amazing. With two houses, it was perfect for both families to have plenty of space . There was pool, pickleball, volleyball and badminton. We always had lots to do. We enjoyed being so close to the water. It was a wonderful weekend and I hope to bring our families back out here one day.😊

The place was perfect, everything super clean, neat, and comfortable. The screened-in porch is perfect to enjoy the weather -and pleasant night sounds!- while keeping the bugs away. Fantastic place to unwind and relax. The hosts (Jessica and Chris) are the kindest and nicest people you can find. We visited in April when there were wildflowers blooming everywhere, which made for scenic walks to the lake and around the 2-mile perimeter path around the property. You will love your stay at their spacious place.

Loved the house, loved the location, loved the friendly things left to use (charcoal, lighter fluid, crackers and snacks, amazing location on the lake! Also, very friendly neighbors (Rich)!
