Totally recommended, beautiful place

Our weekend was amazing. The main floor is large and very open and made it easy for our group to hang out and eat together. The lake is literally just 25 feet or so away from the house. It is February, so we were mostly inside, but quite a few of our high schoolers did jump in the water a few times for a polar plunge. Great value in the off season, great house, and great hosts.

Our family celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday at this beautiful lake house, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Anna was incredibly attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect for our special occasion. The communication was seamless, with the host providing clear instructions and being readily available to assist with any questions or needs we had. The house itself was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view of the lake. Each morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the water, and the peaceful surroundings made for the perfect setting to celebrate such a special milestone. We truly had an amazing time. The combination of a gorgeous home, a thoughtful and attentive host, and the incredible views made our daughter’s 21st birthday celebration even more memorable. It was a perfect getaway!

We had such a great time at Kelly & Corey's place. Everything was exactly as described and the house had everything we needed without any extra clutter. We visited during the off season (early March) and enjoyed kayaking in peace out on the lake, where we saw a bald eagle and some sort of adorable swimming mammal (beaver?). The hosts were friendly, proactive, and responsive. Would definitely stay at this lovely place again!

Myself and two others had a fantastic stay at Michael's Airbnb. Check-in was easy and Michael was a responsive and proactive host. The house itself is great too. All the amenities we needed and very clean. We spent almost all our time down at the dock kayaking and fishing. The dock space had plenty of shade. A larger group could easily spent time down there without feeling overcrowded. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, would definitely come back, and highly recommend it to others!

This was our second stay at Glenn’s place. You definitely feel right at home there.The place is cozy and fully stocked with everything you would need.Glenn is responsive and friendly and is quick to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend anyone staying there to check out Lickety Split an awesome ice cream place only 5 minutes from the house the owners are friendly and have a cute Black Lab named Jade and a Beagle named Shiloh that like to greet you. This is our favorite place to book when we are visiting Lake Gaston.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! The lakeside view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the serene water and watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub, unwinding by the firepit, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The host Eric was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and rejuvenating retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Angler’s Den! My kids loved it and it was super cozy. We loved sitting by the fireplace inside. It had a ton of space and very private. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay, agree with others that the photos don't do it justice. The view of the water through the trees from the lounge and balcony was so calming and we loved sitting ontop of the boat house right on the waters edge. We saw turtles, fish, beavers, fire Flys and birds all on the property. Great space for families, lots of shade for summer and our toddlers loved playing with the garden hose and roasting marshmellows on the fire. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was great and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Host was friendly and communicated well. Also super close to the shady shack which had a wonderful pontoon boat hire next door.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Cypress Cove cottage. Spectacular lake view and peaceful setting. The home was comfortable and very clean. Beth has thought of all the extras to make for a great stay.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

Great location close to Raleigh and the Kerr lake recreation area! The house was cozy and is perfect for a couple for a weekend getaway! The home is well equipped and the additional bedroom at the top is a nice touch! Great location with close proximity (20+ mins) to the Kerr Lake recreation area. Some great restaurants at a driving distance (20+ mins). You can walk to a portion of the lake through the gravel path at the back of the house and we enjoyed that every much with our AM coffee! Communication with Thomas was easy and he was responsive to all our questions! Bottom line - would highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, bright and relaxing house with great lake views. Had everything we needed. Spent 2 mornings playing disc golf in the area, but other than that, there was no reason to leave the property. Kristen was a great host with great communication. Would love to visit this spot again!

We had a wonderful time at Margo's place! The home was exactly as described — cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were absolutely stunning, and our dogs had a blast exploring the area. Our water-loving pup especially enjoyed a few refreshing swims at the beach! The town itself is quaint with great restaurants, and we particularly enjoyed visiting Buggs Island Brewery. Overall, we highly recommend Margo’s place and can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Very cute and comfortable lake side house. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Great location to drive to anything needed during the stay. Kendra is very kind and responsive. Would definitely book this one again
