I grew up in thia area, and I was still in awe of how great of a place this was to relax and unwind. The property feels very private in spite of close neighbors. if you are lucky enough to be there in the spring, you will enjoy Tillie Creek views and sounds! hidden gem in the Kern River Valley, will definitely book again.

My wife and I were absolutely blown away by every aspect of this listing. From the second we drove up and got inside, we were in awe of how beautiful and peaceful it was. The photos absolutely do not do this place justice. We were in the hot tub within 15 minutes of entering the house, and it was absolutely perfect in every aspect. Perfect temperature, pristine tub, incredible views... and as we're soaking, it really felt like we were the only people around. That really describes everything about this place. Every single aspect of it exceeded our expectations. That bathroom was immaculate with a plethora of towels; the bed was incredibly comfortable with an abundance of outlets for devices; the kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked (complete with s'mores supplies!). It's by far the best Airbnb experience we've ever had, and I can't think of any other weekend trip that's been as good as this one was. We arrived tired and worn, and we left completely rejuvenated.

This place is absolutely amazing. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The creek was like a painting, and it was amazing to be able to walk down and drink coffee over looking it, or walk all the way down for a swim. There’s also a hot spring outlet just up the creek. The cabin was cozy for all nine guests. Check in was easy, Peter answered all questions and gave great directions. I want to come back. Thank you, Peter!

What a dreamy stay! We loved the house and location so much. Directions were easy to follow and communication was outstanding. We had a wonderful time and loved that we had some snow to enjoy as well. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

What a gem!! I loved my 3 nights here!! It was so peaceful. The cabin was so spacious and much bigger than I needed for a solo traveler. I used the outdoor hot tub that looks over the meadow of horses. It was nice and hot! My dog enjoyed walking all around the ranch. I was able to start a fire by myself in the real working fireplace!! I read books and played solitaire. I ate at some really good restaurants in town. Since I had my dog I didn’t go into any shops but I loved that there were antique stores and a book store. I found a beautiful turquoise ring at the jewelry shop. The drive through the canyon is very windy and I was not used to that, but beautiful scenery. I would absolutely stay here again! Wonderful host with clear communication before, during, and after my stay. 10 out of 10!! Great spot for a reset and relaxation.

The cabin was very clean & cozy. The kitchen had all the amenities & utensils needed for cooking a meal. We slept comfortably and woke up to snow. It was the perfect weekend getaway with amazing views!

Charming cabin situated in a sequoia forest community. Kathe was flexible, friendly and attentive. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We’ll be back!

We had a fantastic weekend at Camp Dog River. You can hear the river from the home! Peaceful residential setting, well laid out, and with everything you could need for a few days. Can't wait to come back!

Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Perfect place to get out in the wilderness and stargaze at night. It is far away enough to feel like a vacation, but close enough to visit the mountains and lake. John (the host) was very nice and helpful. The house was very cute and clean and pre-heated by our host :) The beds were comfy and the linens were clean. We had a wonderful time exploring the property and Al (our dog) had a blast running and rolling around in the yard. Great getaway!

We loved our time here! This is our second time staying at this Airbnb and we’ll keep coming back. The spacious, fenced yard is perfect for our two large dogs. The inside has such a fun theme! And it’s perfectly situated for access to Kern River and Lake Isabella for outdoor access. Will definitely be back!

This cozy cabin was the perfect getaway from home. Had everything we needed and more. The space was perfect for my family. It was toddler and pet friendly. During the snowy season there was lots of snow to play with. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our time at this cute little house. Very tastefully decorated and super clean. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat and look forward to coming back again!

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

Absolutely loved our stay here. It truly was exceptionally clean, which was really important to me. The location was great. You could walk into town. Walk you could walk down the street the opposite way to amazing trails. We also arrived when the weather was in the low 70s which is very unusual for February. It was perfect. We used the grill, and got to hang out outside in the tent and really appreciate the backyard I did miss not having a washing machine and dryer, but there is a laundromat in town. Also a microwave would be useful. The property was lovely. The backyard was perfect for our black Labrador Buzz 🐝. Overall, we had a fabulous time. Again I will say I was blown away with how clean it was. We would love to return…there are so many more trails to explore in Kernville.

Great stay! Christine was very helpful when we asked questions. Although an older home, it still felt very homey with everything we needed.

every stay at fyzas feels more and more like home. wonderful hosts who share a great space. fyza's place is great for long stays, short stays, any stays. 11/10.

Paul’s cabin was just what we needed to getaway from the city life. My son was able to relax and get a great sense of “slowing down” with his family. My sisters and I have already spoken about returning to the cabin very soon for a nature reset. The cabin felt like home as soon as you walk-in. There was firewood ready to burn, and all of the amenities we needed for a perfect weekend escape.

Outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The place was great, we had A ton of snow which made the stay even better. We will definitely Stay here again.

This is our 3rd stay here and we keep coming back because we always have a wonderful time. The view from balcony is gorgeous and you are just a short drive to Kernville. We also appreciate how clean the place is and the amenities to make the stay more comfortable like extra blankets, the patio fire pit, and kitchen ware.

This place was amazing! Traci and the clean getaway services were very fast to respond to my messages the first night! The place was romantic and beautiful.
