We had a very nice weekend in Huntsville at the Aux Box and were very happy with the accommodations

This place is incredible!! Everything about the property is beautiful! The moment we walked in we were speechless. The floor to ceiling windows were just stunning. The Nordic spa amenities, along with how beautiful the property is, made this stay better than we could've imagined. To top it off the firepit surrounded by lights was just breathtaking. The hosts were amazing. They laid out clear instruction for arrival and departure. They responded to any question we may have had promptly. All I can think about is when are we were going back!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

Great spot for a large group of adults for a short term stay. It was what we expected and the communication from the host was top notch. They were able to accommodate last minute request to adjust the reservation and it was very much appreciated. Short uber ride to the village at Blue Mountain and could walk in nicer weather.

Sarah’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a restful week away! We loved the included amenities and made sure to put them to good use. Whenever we needed something, Sarah was very prompt to answer and assist us! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend the beach house or one of her other two properties at the Inspire Beach Resort.

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

We had a great time staying at Anne’s cottage! The place was spotless and absolutely gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. We came here in February (with snow storms and freezing weather) but the heating system is very capable, floors are warm, and the hot water is instant. Amenities are available as listed as well. Anne and Reid were very responsive and helpful, and overall we had a great time.

Good value. We were looking for something humble and didn't want to break the bank. This is a very nice spot with that special something. We were snowed in our entire stay but the space was well set up for that, with TV's in each room with internet and apps. Really kind host. I would recommend this place and we would book again.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

Exactly as pictured/described, everything you need. Lixin is very friendly and responsive. Helpful with any questions you may have. Kids loves the bunk beds and we had a blast. Looking into booking in the summer.

This was such a great spot to spend a winter weekend! The cabin is rustic and cozy yet the kitchen, washroom and facilities were modern and sleek. Surrounded by trees and we enjoyed the fire place and being close to hikes and snowshoe trails in the area. Lovely cabin made for a wonderful getaway!

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Taylor’s place! With clear instructions, check-in was seamless. The space was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—and more. Taylor was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel well taken care of. The location is beautiful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were lucky to walk on the frozen lake before it literally melted before our eyes lol! Despite the weather not being in our favor, we made the most of it and appreciated coming back to a HOT shower after a rainy day of hiking. The area is packed with trails and stunning viewpoints, plus it’s super close to town, which made everything extra convenient. One of the biggest surprises was the kitchen—it was so well-equipped, making cooking an absolute pleasure. And for those wanting to eat out, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Overall, we highly recommend staying with Taylor and can’t wait to return during the warmer months!

This is a beautifully restored, historic school house in a wooded setting and very close to Lake Muskoka. The house is spacious with vaulted ceilings and a large, open concept kitchen and living room with a huge dining room table for entertaining. The three bedrooms are very well-appointed and we even made use of the cozy bunkie (with a space heater) which is tucked away in the trees. This was an amazing location for our family to celebrate Christmas. The owner, Eric, was very quick to respond to questions and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

Had a fantastic weekend at Ron's cottage, plenty of space for a small group and the cottage is stocked with things to do. Ron was always very responsive and even helped us out when we ran into a bit of car trouble on our last day, by sending us over to his son Jake who is the local mechanic in town - we were back on the road quickly thanks to them. Highly reccommend this place, thanks Ron!

We had the most amazing time during our stay in mid February. The 70 cm of snow and freezing temperatures outside made the tiny little cabin even more cozy and private. Cynthia and Steve were the most friendly, responsible and most thoughtful host we’ve experienced. They went above and beyond through reliable communication and had great recommendations about the local area. They also really thought of everything to make their cabin a home away from home. From the cute local pottery to the fancy high tech toilet, this off the grid experience was much more comfortable than anticipated. If you are looking for a private camping experience, this place fits the bill. Thank you again Cynthia and Steve again for creating such a beautiful place for us to get engaged. Your little cabin has become very sentimental to us, and we look forward to visiting again!

We loved our stay! The cabin was exactly as described – clean, modern, and well-equipped. Stephen was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!
