We had our family Christmas here and it was very memorable. No issues with the house. We wish we could of enjoyed the porches more than the one warm afternoon we spent out there. They made a good size house even larger and everyone enjoyed all the places we could hang out in different family groups. We really appreciated the kid gates at the top of each stairs. Our family had no worries about our toddlers or three year old. The driveway is very steep but everyone made it up and back down with no problem. We went with putting just one car in the driveway at a time and two down the street. The walk is short and there is the entrance to a park/trail on the way that we all enjoyed at some point. Thanks.

The house was perfect for a larger group, plenty of space if you needed to be alone. Gorgeous view of the lake and very convenient to the highways. The bathrooms, kitchen and open floor areas were clean but perimeter of the rooms and under the furniture needed to be swiffered. Vacasa offered to come in and do that but I declined as we were halfway through our stay. We were there over Christmas and I was cooking for the crowd so I would have liked some decent serving bowls (not plastic) and do bring your own knives if you plan to cook. I would definitely stay there again.

This home did not disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous! The host were available when needed.Well supplied with everything you need such as dishes, household supplies, shampoos, body wash, conditioners, skin lotion, laundry detergent and softeners. Anything that you need is already there except food and drink. The home is beautiful and serene, the waterfall is absolutely stunning and peaceful. You will not be disappointed at all!!

The place is exactly as described. Very close to WCU and worked out great during move in day. Relaxing place to stay.

My family and I were very impressed with the house! We visited for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Lynette even left a very yummy apple pie on the counter for us! The house was cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. The WiFi worked well. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and could easily accommodate a few more folks. We would love to stay here again!

Our stay at this beautiful mountain home in Waynesville, North Carolina, was absolutely magical! Jennifer's home was the perfect place! It's just 10 minutes from Western NC University, 5 minutes from downtown Sylva, and less than 15 minutes from Jackson local airport. Great location, and Jennifer is extremely mindful to the little things a guest might need during their stay. Beds/pillows super comfy, great thermostat, and even a pit to roast marshmallows. Our family truly enjoyed their stay!!

We had a wonderful weekend. The accommodations were perfect. The place was well stocked with everything you would need. We will stay again!

We needed an additional house for a family member's funeral. I actually went to find the house a couple of days ahead of our booking. Mary was outside so I told her I just wanted to find the house and see where it was. She took me on a tour of the apt. It's exactly as the listing says it is. There are a couple of low ceilings - especially in the bathroom. My son in law is 6'3" so he had to duck his head in a few places. The kitchen was perfect. Since our main house was a few miles away, we didn't do any cooking. If we were eating there, we just used the microwave. The coffee maker is only a 5 cup pot like they use in hotels, but I had a Keurig so it all worked out. (there were 3 coffee drinkers) On the + side, Mary did provide the coffee!! The beds were comfortable. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twins. We pushed them together for a king bed. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels were available. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a nice stay here. Sharon was friendly and very easy to get in touch with. Close to all Lake Junaluska has to offer.

This was our second stay at Carolyn’s wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as perfect as the first! The lake views are absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect getaway. Carolyn is a fantastic experienced host, thoughtful and welcoming. It felt like coming back home. Our dog got to join us, and he loved it just as much as we did! If you’re traveling with a dog, you can’t beat the accommodations of Carolyn‘s place. It’s so nice to find a place that’s both pet-friendly and convenient and nice and truly relaxing for humans. We can’t recommend Carolyn’s home high enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing visit!

This is our third stay. We love coming here. Love the house and location. Always pristine clean and quick to respond if anything comes up. Near all our favorite things to do.

Adorable and spacious cottage with two private sleeping and sitting areas. Perfect for two couples! It was nice to come back to a quiet peaceful place after exploring the area during the day. Sitting on the back deck or in the screened room by the pond made us wish we had stayed longer. Jackie went over and above to make us feel comfortable including a cake for my husband's birthday and shipping a new golf bag to her for a surprise gift. The cottage is easy to find and has great access to the lake. We walked on the walking path every afternoon during our stay. The cottage has great amenities and is a great value. The location is within 5-10 minutes of almost all restaurants/shopping you could need during your stay. Highly recommend.

Brian, David and I will defiantly come back to stay again. We love Lake Junaluska and your location is perfect for easily jumping over to downtown Waynesville, the lake or Maggie Valley. As I mentioned in our conversation, you guys did an amazing job with the renovation bringing this sweet little house back to something very special. We felt very much at home instantly and the directions you provided made the check in and out seamless. The house was very clean and I very much appreciated the little touches of items provided in the kitchen. I would also note, the little notes on how to use the fireplace and other items were tastefully done and left no room for questions. With two full living spaces on different levels, there was great privacy and yet it had the perfect living area to gather and eat together. Within walking distance to the lake, gift store, community pool and rec center, as well as a couple of restaurants. House had everything you will need to relax and enjoy your time away from home. Hosts were very communicative and thoughtful in their touches with snacks and candies (loved by the kids), as well as items for coffee and tea, as well as a hand written note. Highly recommend!
