The day we checked in was the night just before Helene hit Asheville. We lost power on the second day, but luckily Lynn and Bill have a generator that secured our usage of power throughout the next a few days. On the third day, we lost the network. But the magical Lynn and Bill had a starlink that kept us connected to the outside world! The network not only kept us informed about the latest news, but also enabled us to send out important messages to the parents for some Asheville School students, so their parents could arrange picking up their children the moment they received the message. We literally became the information distribution center between the students and their parents. Can't thank Lynn and Bill enough for their support during such difficult time. Forgot to tell you that Lynn and Bill have got a beatuiful house and view, nice settings of everything inside. The days we stayed with Lynn and Bill are unforgettable.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

Excellent location! We were here for a week for a work training and were only minutes away from west Asheville and downtown Asheville (also very close to the blue ridge parkway entrance). The airbnb is clean, quiet and safe. Very peaceful in the evenings. We were very comfortable here and had a great stay.

Our host, Alex, was terrific. Very friendly, responsive and kindly lent my husband a belt for an event we attended as he forgot to pack his own from home! The space is perfect and meticulously clean. Bed is very comfortable and kitchen has lots of pans to use for cooking which we appreciated. WiFi is good as we needed to work remotely for a day there (desk, kitchen table and covered outdoor picnic table provided lots of space). Not to mention aesthetically, it is a gorgeous place. Alex suggested a great park around the block (Bent Creek Community Center) and the neighborhood is walkable. Of course Bent Creek has fantastic trails close by. Highly recommended staying here! You won’t be disappointed.

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

This was our second stay at Carolyn’s wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as perfect as the first! The lake views are absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect getaway. Carolyn is a fantastic experienced host, thoughtful and welcoming. It felt like coming back home. Our dog got to join us, and he loved it just as much as we did! If you’re traveling with a dog, you can’t beat the accommodations of Carolyn‘s place. It’s so nice to find a place that’s both pet-friendly and convenient and nice and truly relaxing for humans. We can’t recommend Carolyn’s home high enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing visit!

We stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. The home is conveniently located and in a quiet neighborhood. We had zero issues while we were there. The bathroom is very spacious, and Laura provided everything you might need (shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels and washcloths, paper towels, paper plates, coffeemaker and pods, and even things like lotion, deodorant, and soap, in case you forget yours!). It's also pet-friendly (we brought our rabbit and his cage), and was a great price, especially for the area!

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

Family and I really enjoyed ourselves, like a home away from home! The house had everything we needed and was as described. Erin took the time to hand deliver bread, eggs, and butter…that was awesome. Close to downtown and amazing day hike adventures. Definitely would stay here again next time!!

If you’re looking for a well-kept, comfortable and peaceful place and property for a family get together, this is a must consider. On top of all the wonderful things Asheville offered being only a few minutes drive, we loved going home to this place and have chill time in the outdoor hot tub. It provided us (even our pup) everything we needed for a restful and fun stay. I highly recommend Anne’s house and won’t hesitate to stay again.

The home was beautiful and in a great location!! The check in process was very smooth, and Bruce did an amazing job at explaining how to get to the house/where everything was. I definitely recommend this to anyone who’s on the fence!!

This was our 2nd stay at Carmela's place. Again, it was spectacular. It was warm enough for the outdoor firepit. Unfortunately, there was a burn ban in place, so we were not able to use it. The place itself is very homey and comfortable. Love that it's pet friendly and a private location. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, inviting river house with all the cozy comforts one could want. This river house offers ample sleeping arrangements in beautifully decorated rooms. The living space has a comfortable couch next to a large fireplace. This was the perfect setting to lose multiple games of Uno to my daughter. This property was convenient, as we had a fishing charter set for 7:30am on the banks of the river through the host’s family. Fontana Guides has provided my family of four an incredible day wading in the river and catching trout for multiple years. It’s a perfect duo.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Willie’s place. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful for booking to check-in to check out. The place was spotless and had every amenity we needed. The arcade game was a great bonus. The location was perfect since we had an event right across the street at the Convention Center. Do not be deterred about the location, since it is in a trailer park and it is dark at night. We felt extremely safe and both hosts were just a phone call away. I will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed a stay and the condo had a great layout. Only complaint is the picture led us to believe we were near the pool and we weren’t anywhere close to water. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Corey’s place. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the golfers and walking the neighborhood. There were beautiful views surrounding us. Corey was very responsive. We look forward to returning.

The location of the condo is ideal. The decor and easy accessibility make this selection a perfect choice. The Golf Course provides a great walking path, after hours. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is lovely. I would highly recommend this property to young and old.

Our stay here was great. Everything was just as described. I was surprised to find out the host does live in the condo above, but you didn’t even know they were there. Would definitely book here again.

When booking an Airbnb you have no idea what you are getting. When I booked this condo I had no idea except for the photos. Once we got close to the date to check in the owner Matt reached out and I felt like it was met to be. The location, the place, the fit. And let me tell you about the bed, outstanding! We had the best time at the condo. Even the locals in the area walking their dogs were so friendly. Asking us if we enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay here again.

This is a really special home. Not only is it beautiful but the hosts have decorated with items curated from the stores just below the home on main st. Personally, that shows me the pride they have in their space and their town. Our arrival time coincided with a festival and parking was a problem but I would not let that deter me. I would just plan better next time! Hope to return next year.

Maggie's Hideaway was the perfect getaway for the holidays. It was just the right size for our family of 4. James had is cutely decorated for Christmas. The kitchen had all the amenities and then some. I didn't even have to unload my usual AirBNB box of necessities. We are already planning our next trip to Maggie and will definitely be staying here again. James, thanks for having an amazing place!
