This place was simply awesome . Better than probably how the pictures reflect . It has all the amenities and games to keep a family very well engaged and have a great time .

It was a good location and I like being there and next time I come up and we get the same house

We had a great stay and really loved the place. Chase thought of everything. The sound of the waterfall was amazing and the view of the mountains on misty mornings was amazing.

A great place with all the requires amenities, very comfortable a great place to expend time with family and friends.

We enjoyed the property and the house. The upstairs steps are a little steep but as long as you are careful going up it was fine. The view of the lake was amazing and enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There were 10 of us and never felt crowed.

Place has a great view right on the lake. Host was very responsive and communicated well.

Place was beyond amazing! Made our little Spring break getaway one to remember. Russel’s place is so private and quiet. Kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. Plenty of towels and hot water for a house full. My Littles, ages 4 & 7 were always busy, playing inside and outside, they were never bored. The river is shallow but so clear and beautiful. We even enjoyed listening to the geese and watching all the deer meander about. No one wanted to leave after a 4-night stay. We loved it so much. We ventured out hiking one day with some nice waterfall hikes and swinging bridge not too far away. Went shopping in Blue Ridge on another day, such a cute little area with boutiques and restaurants that my older kids loved. This is a beautiful mountain area to visit if you want to steer clear of the commercialized stuff Gatlinburg has to offer. We will definitely be back will recommend Russel’s place to our families and friends!

This is a beautiful spot and actually our 2nd time staying there. The house is right on a rushing river which you hear for your entire stay. The house, driveway, deck, and fire pit are very close to each other and on the same level which is nice. We were happy to see a brand new washer and dryer had just been installed prior to our arrival which worked great. The cabin is such an amazing place. We never left during our stay.

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

It was a great place to get away and decompress . Clean , very nicely decorated , super cute .

We visited the cabin the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Cynthia’s home was friendly, cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The interior was furnished and accessorized with a very homey Ralph Lauren vibe. The property was well stocked and squeaky clean. Located directly on the Toccoa River the personality of the River was fascinating. There is an abundance of hiking in the Aska Trail System and many great restaurants and shops in Blueridge. We loved The Pasta Market and Ferrari’s and of course the obligatory Toccoa Riverside Restaurant. Cynthia was lovely to work with and very responsive to our questions. Overall our stay was wonderful and we look forward to visiting again.

June was a gracious host, easily accessible but giving us plenty of privacy. The house is exactly as pictured. We chose it for the porch, the bathtub and proximity to hikes and it was exactly what we’d hope for. The kitchen was the best stocked we’ve ever seen in an AirBnB. A few notes for future guests, the house is quite remote and secluded (a perk!), the driveway would’ve been a challenge in a sedan, definitely easier for city folk to navigate in an SUV and I would recommend arriving before dark on your first night. Also, the counters are high, meaning if you’re under about 5’6” the kitchen and bathroom may prove awkward. The internet was fine for streaming TV, but wasn’t fast enough to consider this home for a working vacation. Finally, while it *can* sleep 4, the master being a loft and the open floor plan means very little privacy. This was the perfect haven for us as a couple!
