Airbnb We loved our stay at this charming lake house! Elizabeth was a great host, very timely with responses from beginning to end and attentive to every little detail in the house. The lake house was clean, roomy, well stocked for every need, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location with a beautiful view of the lake and a fishing dock! The beds were very comfortable, the wifi was great, and it was so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and drinking our coffee; we also enjoyed the fire pit and charcoal grill and fishing off the pier and unwinding at night watching TV and the fireplace! We cannot say enough good things about this house and location, and we highly recommend it and plan to return again!

Thanks for providing such a beautiful and homey place! Lots of things in the house are carefully selected and the bed linen/towels smell good. My family and friends loved the house and we enjoyed using the kayaks. The house is pet friendly, our dog had great time as well. I especially like the glasses in the kitchen. No wonder why there are lines like not taking things away in check-out instruction. Don’t give me ideas…I do recommend this house to other travelers.

5/5 it was very clean with plenty of space and things to do. Wifi worked great and the kitchen was very convenient. it was a great stay and we’d come back if we’re ever in town again.

Stayed here with friends for the Renaissance Fair. Beautiful home and I love the way it's decorated. Eric was a great host and did everything he could for us when we needed it.

Everything very straightforward when it came to the instructions and checking in and out. The host is a great person who is always there if you have any questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to make it a great experience. It's a place in which there's lots to do without needing to leave the property.

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful lake house in Conroe! The property was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The views of the lake were stunning, and we really enjoyed the spacious property. Also like relaxing on the deck, using the kayak. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The cottage was a great spot for a wonderful family get away! The space for 6 of us was great, room and bathroom accommodations were perfect. The area is so peaceful and quiet. It is a very easy and short walk to the lake, did some fishing and kayaking. There are also some walking trails close by, or the neighborhood is walkable, very quiet and scenic with all the trees. We did have some questions while there and Jennifer was great at getting back to us very quickly, as she has been from the very beginning. She gave us some great information on activities around the cottage, as well as, around the area. Was super helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

My wife and kids loved our stay there. Our only regret is not staying longer. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that it offered. They had everything we needed to make the stay more comfortable. We can definitely say you must see this place.

The photos were accurate for the top half of the cottage. Lower portion had an enclosed area which is helpful for those mosquitos, but no TV for viewing which bummed the teen a bit. The hammocks were nice on the lower level. Two chairs were provided for the top deck so that was helpful in being able to take in the sunrises. Overall clean. There had been lots of winds prior to our stay so lots of dirt on the outside areas as well windows, but the inside was clean and orderly. Even had an electric tea kettle which was a plus. Bring your own kitchen towels if you do any cooking/baking. Otherwise quite comfy and would stay again.

Amy was an amazing host. Very kind and considerate. Very responsive. The place is beautiful and cozy. Fun seeing all the wildlife. Great birdwatching, little turtles swimming nearby, fish jumping. Peaceful, neighbors are warm and unpretentious, people wave when you’re driving through the neighborhood. The bed was very comfy, everyone slept well, plenty of TVs for every one to enjoy in their rooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook at home. The coffee bar was well stocked which is awesome. The snacks were a great touch and everyone enjoyed that. The available games were fun too. Only wish our schedule would’ve allowed us to stay longer.

Mike’s place was great for our weekend stay. House was exactly as described.

My family and I traveled from Las Vegas, NV for spring break. This home was everything we could have hoped for. The lake was beautiful, the water toys were a hit with the kids. The neighbor Mr. Jackson and his dog Hazard were so helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this home for your relaxing and peaceful get away. We will definitely return for summer. It was nice staying out in the water and waking up to enjoy coffee while we watching the fish swim by. The rooms worked out great for the amount of guest we had to accommodate. The hosts were super nice and responsive every time . Overall the experience was wonderful

After arriving later than expected, had a slight hiccup getting into the property. Gave Wayne a call and he helped me out promptly. Great stay overall and a cozy place!

Merridee's place was perfect for what me and my gfs needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. The only complaints I have was weak water pressure for kitchen sink and the refrigerator water dispenser did not work. These were minor and I hope to come back one day! Thank you, Merridee!

I absolutely loved it! The view is beautiful. It's quiet and relaxing. It's a perfect getaway for yourself or for a couple's getaway. I would book this location again without hesitation.

Great getaway with the kiddos. Lots of great books, boardgames, and outdoor fun. We were able to take the canoe out for a few excursions to the lake and enjoyed a nice evening by the fire making s’mores

I stayed at Mark’s cabin for a Mother’s Day getaway, and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. His son, Andrew, met me to walk me to the cabin and show me around - he was incredibly hospitable! I loved having the cows and sheep around, and the field was full of Texas wildflowers! The cabin is even more lovely than the pictures, complete with a full kitchen and Keurig machine! The plumbing is currently down, as was mentioned in the listing; Mark made sure I was aware of this before booking. It was fine with me, as I’m used to camping, and this felt more like glamping. Just be sure to bring plenty of water bottles and boots, in case of rainy weather, as there will likely be some mud.

This place was absolutely beautiful and what me and my husband was looking for. Quiet and relaxing. Great place to get away from the city. The cabin was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay here again.
