We had a wonderful time and the townhouse was perfect. Our only issue was we did not have coffee filters. They did provide coffee packets but we wanted to brew our own coffee. The top floor was a welcome surprise as it was a beautiful bedroom with lots of space that we were not expecting. Walkable to south slope and downtown. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful home with incredible views! It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. As someone who enjoys cooking, I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. The home was listed as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it was 2 1/2 baths. This home provided a serene view of Lake Lure and mountains with an added bonus of being able to see Chimney Rock right outside the window. The Italian restaurant within walking distance had kind service and great food. The close proximity to parks, quaint boutiques, and The Flowering Bridge were a bonus! We enjoyed this property so much over New Years, we can only imagine how great it will be during the Summer.

Fun and functional 4 level condo in the heart of South Slope. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Great place to stay! Spacious, comfortable, and walking distance to downtown I wish the wifi worked a bit better above the second floor but were able to make due. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The location is great for anything you want to do in Asheville. The townhouse is immaculate and wonderfully decorated. We usually stay at hotels when we go to Asheville and this was so much better. The weather was pretty bad while we were there so we drove everywhere. It is a 4-5 minute drive to downtown shopping and restaurants. No issue with noise or parking.

This place was amazing, meant for airbnb and kid friendly. They had all the supplies needed and in stock, very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a convenient place to stay.

We arrived the day before the hurricane. We were expecting rain but we weren’t expecting the devastation that impacted Asheville. They checked on us numerous times. We opted to leave after staying one night due to flooding, no electricity, no water and no cell service. Jessica and her team were understanding and accommodating even in such dire circumstances. We would highly recommend their unit. The multi levels provide privacy and sound barriers if your group has a wide variety of bed times. The deck is amazing and I envisioned nights of conversation or just relaxing. The location is convenient to downtown and has a very cute “village” area for food or coffee. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at “The Caroline” - everything was perfect and amazing! The space is lovely and spacious and spotless! Communication was fast and helpful! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

This place is amazing. If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing time this is the place to be. I would recommend 100%. Next time I’m back in North Carolina I would stay again. Thank you Thomas

Lindsay is a great host! She is responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend her place. The home was well appointed and spotless. And the views were spectacular! We had rain most of our visit so we were only able to enjoy the deck one day, but that one day was worth it. Good internet too.

Great location for easy access to nearby towns, restaurants, breweries, and of course..hiking! Pros: Gated community, communication, pool/hot tub, on-site dining, view, multiple decks to enjoy the view, quiet, clean, and you get your own golf cart! Cons: the kitchen is pretty small and the bathrooms are dated but… I seen this in the pictures and the price reflects it so I still left a great review. Would stay again!

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful this property and the hosts are, down to every single detail. Everything was amazing! The condo is to die for, clean and beautifully laid out. The location is perfect for a getaway with great food within walking distance. The hot tub is an added bonus not to mention the huge tub in the master bedroom/bathroom. We had everything we needed to cook will a fully stocked kitchen and a huge grill, and a grocery store within 10 minutes away. The view was straight from heaven, looking out at the mountains and water. The beds were fresh and comfy! The fireplace was perfect for a night in watching the tv. The old school Nintendo games took us back to our childhood days! The host went above and beyond to ensure we had an awesome time! We can’t wait to get back! We have stayed many, many different properties and this was by far our favorite! We have decided this be an every month trip for us.

Beth's place was wonderful. She was easy to communicate with and she responded to our questions quickly. Beth was very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and spacious yet cozy. Our family loved hanging out and playing board games in the screened in porch. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfy. The place was very quiet and peaceful, as was the lake behind it. It was nice to sit on the dock, bask in nature, and relax. The condo is a very short drive from the resort amenities, which you can also reach by a pleasant 10 minute walk. The resort itself has so many things to do, my kids were in heaven! We were also able to rent a boat and enjoy Lake Lure. I will definitely recommend this place. Our family will definitely come back! This is a beautiful place inside and out. It was spotless clean and has comfortable beds with plenty of linens, blankets, towels and kitchen necessities.. It is right on the lake and golf course and walking distance to Legends on the Lake which has great food. Chris is an excellent host!

This place was nice! And I don’t mean like nice, I mean like NNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEE! So clean, so well thought out and well stocked. Everything is labeled, phone cords on every lamp in each room, extra supplies in case you forgot something. This was BY FAR the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. I wish they’d host more places!!

The pictures don’t do the house justice. Everything was absolutely perfect. I booked the house for eight ladies getting together for a girls trip and everyone said it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we had been to. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the view of the mountains from the porch is breathtaking. Jessica and Sandra were amazing hosts. Communication was fabulous and they went above and beyond to make us fee welcome. Overall it was a 5-star experience.

Out of town family here for our daughter‘s wedding enjoyed Magnolia Creek Retreat immensely. The unit was comfortable and well appointed. Easily accommodated seven people. Surrounded by mountains and forest. The location is minutes from downtown Black Mountain. Peter arranged for a beautiful bottle of champagne and personal congratulatory note for our daughter. What an unexpected surprise. Would recommend Magnolia Creek Retreat to family and friends.

My bf and I (and our dogs) loved our stay here! It was our first time at Lake Lure, and we will definitely be back. The place was so charming and clean, we honestly felt right at home from the get go. The host allowed flexible check-in and check-out as well. An added plus was the additonal access to the clubhouse, etc. We feel that we got a great deal overall. Thank you again!
