Steve and team were lovely! From Check-in and throughout the stay they were responsive, friendly and kind. Steve and his wife even stopped by after a severe storm to check in on us and make sure we didn't need the generator or any assistance. Perfectly peaceful space for our weekend girl trip. This beautiful old house is a gem - it's as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. And the lakefront is just so special - clean, well kept, and inviting. We have been going for over 10 years and love it today as much as the first time we visited.

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

A wonderful lake house for my family. The house has everything you need. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there's lots of fun stuff for playing on the lake. Very comfortable inside and out. We had a great time!

This place worked great as a home base for my son and me for a long weekend exploring the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. We made a number of trips to areas we were interested in during the day. We either prepared our meals at the cottage or went to one of the local restaurants to eat - lots of options close by.

Fantastic getaway for group of friends. Atmosphere and property was exactly what we needed and a good value. Very clean, updated, and had the amenities to make it a very enjoyable stay.

We loved this place. The ducks in the lake that visited frequently. The details were carefully chosen. The comfort, the stove, the spacing gave us room to move, the games created memories for us to enjoy and talk about. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

We stayed here for 34nights while I was working in the area. Great price for the space. When I had a question I had a response within minutes. They even accommodated an additional guest of mine that was added after a few weeks of checking in.

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. Lovely little upstairs apartment, much warmer to come home to after a day full of meetings than a hotel.

Cute loft in a great downtown location. We will definitely rebook in the future. We didn't spend much time inside, but it had everything we needed and the bed was also very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Crystal's place. It was charming and quaint just like the photos in the listing. We enjoyed walking by the lake in the morning which is super close to the cottage. The location is close to bike trails that we enjoyed as well as downtown Grand Haven and Spring Lake. The perfect place for a Michigan Fall weekend getaway!

Staying at the cottage felt like traveling back in time to when life was peaceful and simple, without ever feeling like anything was lacking from modern day! Her place is so aesthetically decorated and cozy. I loved curling up under a blanket under the large bay window watching the snow fall and waves crash onto the lake shore. Easy staircase down to private beach. Felt like we were the only one out on Lake MI, such serene peace and quiet!! Kitchen has everything you can want from Keurig to toasters. Bedrooms are warm and high quality bedding. Each cabin has its own Roku so you can Airplay your devices onto the TV. We really enjoyed our getaway. We did get lost trying to find our way to the property during a snowstorm but Jera Facetimed us to show us the way!

We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful home, spacious enough for our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren! The kitchen is so well stocked with not only everything you’ll need for cooking, but also with spices and condiments! We will not hesitate to book this home again! Ben was so responsive to my questions and his communication was great! No complaints about this beautiful rental!

I spent two winter months enjoying the breathtaking, snowy views from this quaint, cozy cabin. Situated in a rural setting but still close enough to town and restaurants. Downtown Battle Creek is charming, and the locals are friendly. David and Justin were great hosts, accommodating, and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and if possible, will visit again.

Dana was very friendly, responsive and helpful before and during our stay. She answered any questions we had and made it clear what was expected of us before we checked out. We had a nice chill time, the porch was great for looking out over the lake, feeling the breeze and the sun on your face. The place was clean and well taken care of, we really had no complaints.
