By far the most beautiful view from an Airbnb on our trip. I really admire Olivia's eye for design, her attention to detail, and the use of her label maker 😂 We had everything we needed and then some. We got take away from Betsy Jane's and watched the sunset from our little table. We watched the sunrise and the helicopters take off in the morning. The bed was comfortable and our towels were soft! You can tell the owner took a lot of pride in sourcing local goodies. From coffee to soap it all felt luxurious. We started our next day a few hours later than we had planned just so we could enjoy this stay a little longer. Go ahead and click that book button.

Close to Franz Josef. We were happy to have a comfortable place to hang out since it rained much of the time we were there. Kitchen has everything needed to cook and eat a meal. Great tv subscription, most choices we’ve seen in NZ. It was nice to have fresh eggs and milk. Jenny was very welcoming and provided suggestions for things to do in the area. It is an old farmhouse, don’t except ultra modern, high-end finishes. Best for a couple or family.

Cathy's place was perfect for our one night stay. She was kind enough to offer us an upgrade due to a cancellation, which we very much appreciated. The unit was very spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was well heated and the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend a stay at Cathy's place - it certainly met our expectations as a great place to relax after a full day of exploring.

unassuming place tucked away behind a doubtful frontage so don't be disappointed. this cosy little place is home away from home. the toilet is a tight fit so watch your head when sitting. bed comfortable. extra linen available should you need. lovely and quiet 😸

Thanks James for having us. This cabin is a comfortable place for 1-2 people to rest for a night while visiting Franz Josef and surrounds. All the major attractions and services are only 5-10 minutes away by car. Would recommend as straightforward accommodation for those visiting the West Coast.

Absolutely lovely! This is easily one of our top stays in our road trip in NZ! Eunice is so helpful, friendly and responsive! The home is so comfortable and cosy. Our only regret is our short stay. Next time, we will certainly stay more than a night. Thank you Eunice!

Okarito is a beautiful drive from Franz Josef. There are activities you can do locally. The house was spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Wifi worked well. There was a house quite close but as it is probably a holiday home, there was no one there. Actually had views of the Alps from inside the house. Great quiet little spot.
