Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

Great experience and location for a getaway! Hosts were very accommodating with an earlier check in and later check out time. Very proactive with snow removal (it snowed overnight and driveway was plowed and area around our cars was shoveled before we even woke up.) Gorgeous cabin with great amenities. Massage chair was such a hit with our group, as was the hot tub and provided hammocks. Highly recommend!

Talk about a cabin in the woods!! We went here for my dads 60th birthday weekend and everything went great. There were 8 of us and a 2 year old toddler. Plenty of space to hangout all together and not feel crowded and big enough to have your own space/alone time! The kitchen is immaculate, one of the largest kitchen islands we have ever seen! It was great. We also loved how all of the cabinets and drawers were labeled! Huge help in such a large kitchen! The two extra refrigerators/freezers were fantastic in the oversized pantry. Hot tub was great & the outdoor fire pit we used every night! All bedrooms were good a good size & we enjoyed that 4 bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. It was the perfect up north getaway with the family.

The cablet was exactly as described. It was clean and well maintained. The scenery and view were amazing. Sarah was super and told me I could stay til noon. I will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed staying at Saronna's place. She was an attentive host and we felt prepared to not only find and access the cabin but also to get in. The Cabin is perfect and has so much outdoor space to enjoy! We definitely want to come back to this hidden gem.

We had an amazing getaway. This location was perfect for the two of us and our dogs! We can’t wait to book in the summer and fall to see the foliage on the property. After day trips to 2 state parks with our dogs, our favorite amenity was coming home and building a cozy fire in the wood stove. 10 out of 10 experience!

My husband and I spent a Wednesday thru Sunday long weekend at the cabin, and we would easily do it again! So many thoughtful touches and features by the owners make this a very enjoyable place to stay. I don't know how the AirBnB folks do it, because everyone's "triggers" are different for what makes it special and for us, it was a winner. The major things were an overall vibe that casual and comfortable and a host that communicated very well and addressed any needs. A small sampling of other things that created joy were a welcome basket of s'more fixings, tasteful decorations, an incredibly warm throw to cuddle on the couch with, dog dishes and TREATS (!) for our dogs, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, great chairs for sitting on deck, a wonderful beach/dock area for kids/dogs, ability to BBQ and have a great outdoor meal. Also, would highly recommend the Troll search. Very unique and fun! Visiting Walker MN and Itasca State Park with the fall colors was wonderful as well!

Charming cabin right on the lake. Our family loved being on the water and enjoying the patio. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

a rare find...cabin so close to the water, the dock and beach/firepit area! saved us a ton of walking with very minimal amount of steps. beautiful view of lake from almost every window. right off the road but amazingly very private! my daughter and i enjoyed every minute of our stay. nice dock, nice decks, nice cabin!!!

Beautiful house on a lake with to great places next door to eat and drink. located on the atv trail. Has a nice deck on back of the house to relax and catch up with friends or family. plenty of spots in the house to spread out and enjoy some alone time.

Beautiful and peaceful place to visit in the fall! We loved our stay, hearing and seeing the loons on the water and eating a lot of good food in the small town of Dent. Mike’s cabin had everything we needed. We also spent an afternoon seeing a couple of the Dambo Trolls in Frazee and at Detroit Mountain. This is a little bit of a drive, but worth it in my opinion 🙂

We had a great time at Joan’s place! We stayed during the hottest day of the summer yet and the house stayed cool. The kitchen is well stocked, we made all our meals in the kitchen and used the grill. The house is spotless, I’m very picky and didn’t see a speck of dust. The beds were kinda stiff but that didn’t affect our sleep whatsoever. They have many boat rentals on Ottertail, we rented a pontoon and docked the boat right at the house. We even caught fish off the dock. They have a large enough parking space, we had 3 pick ups, 2 cars, boat, trailer and jet ski. Everything fit in the parking lot. If we ever go back to Ottertail Lake, I would rent from here again.

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

Nice updated clean cabin with everything you need. Great sandy beach for the kids with slides, paddle boats, lily pad, kayak and more.

Perfect for our family of 5 (Mom, Dad, & 3 boys). We brought our kayaks and the kids were out on the lake every day fishing or just kayaking. Decent fishing in the immediate area of the dock. We caught Pike, Bass, and pan fish each time we were out. Cabin was cozy and quiet and having access to the garage area was awesome for storing gear and drying out wet water shoes and cloths. Short drive to other lakes as we rented a pontoon at Shady Grove Resort (Thank You!!!) and had a blast fishing and boating on Rush Lake. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and provided lots of area info. If your looking for a quiet getaway, away from busy areas this is the place. Thank You Troopers Landing!

We had a great weekend away and really appreciated the ramp accessibility for my dad, who uses a 4 wheel walker. Great hospitality and beautiful lake!

A much needed week of relaxation in the most beautiful setting imaginable. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and responsive. Just a fabulous experience that we hope to repeat.

We loved this place! The house and bunkhouse worked great for our family of 9. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had a couple of minor mishaps, but the hosts responded immediately and the issues were resolved very quickly. The big yard was great for outdoor games, and we enjoyed the firepit at night. The hosts also recommended a place to rent a pontoon, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the owners of the rental place were extremely kind and accomodating. The lake was very weedy, but we were able to find clear areas out in the middle with the pontoon, where we swam and floated around on floaties. A few of our family members did a little fishing from the pontoon and caught some very nice size pan-fish and a good size northern also. Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10, only because of the lake. Thanks to the awesome hosts!!!

This is a the perfect place to come unplug for a few days. Very private but spacious cabin, could easily host a group without feeling crowded. We love that this cabin is tucked back in the trees and makes you feel like your a million miles from anywhere, when in fact your just a few minute drive away from many activities or town. The cabin hosts were easy to get ahold of and communicate with, and resolved any issue promptly. We look forward to returning in the future.
