This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

This is a beautiful, cozy little cottage right near downtown Douglas. It's perfectly situated for bike rides to the beach or downtown Saugatauk. The yard is huge and shady, with a hammock, BBQ, etc. We would definitely come back.

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Had a lovely stay in this tiny house! The surrounding nature is beautiful with so many accommodations! The attention to detail was amazing. The home was extremely cozy with hiking all around the property. Aletha and Terry were so kind and welcoming and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be coming back :)

We love it there. This was our second time in the cabin, and third time on their properties. The place is so warm and inviting. Extremely private, clean, and had everything in the kitchen to cook with. Can’t wait to go back. Melanie was extremely accommodating, and even allowed us another hour to sleep in. 5 Star all day long!!😀

My partner and I made stayed here for a weekend anniversary trip and had a great time! The cabin is close to everything but still secluded enough to enjoy some down time in nature (and with the barn cats if you're lucky). Both the outdoor and indoor spaces were exactly what we wanted. Stephanie was also very responsive and made it really easy to plan our trip. We hope to come back soon!

John-Ross and Cara's AirBnB was so cute. They provided very clear instructions on how to get into the AirBnB and I had no issues the entire two nights that I stayed there. It was conveniently located to St. Joseph and South Haven. I would absolutely recommend this AirBnB to anyone who wants to stay in a unique cottage that is close to the lake!

The beds were comfortable, the home was tidy, and the location was close to everything I needed on this trip. The living room furniture is adequate but not very comfortable, and there is no dishwasher, but since it was just me, that was not a problem: just facts, no complaints. I'd definitely request a stay again if needed.

What a great host and location!! It looks exactly like the photos, like we stepped into a beautiful magazine. So grateful for the flexibility and friendliness. We are already planning our next trip!

Had a great time on our winter weekend with my wife. Ivan & Carly were the perfect balance of communicative and informative - letting us know what we needed to about finding and getting into the bungalow. The bungalow itself was clean and cozy, but the main attraction was the hot tub which was working and was clean. We had a great experience and would recommend staying here!

The cabin was very cozy and we were warm despite below freezing temperatures. The camp scenery was nice, there was a fair bit of noise pollution from the highway though. The host was friendly and brought us more wood for the cold nights.

Wonderful little rustic cabin! Stayed here with my mom for 2 nights. Very easy to travel to and from manistee/ludington. Love the feeling of rustic camping but with a private toilet and shower.

Beautiful secluded cabin. Only twenty minutes away from caberfae for skiing. comes with a grill and an electric camping stove top. three beds and plenty of space. Tonna was super responsive and when the air b&b app was malfunctioning she contacted me right away through my number. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will definitely be bringing my wife and kid up next time!

The Blue Heron was a perfect weekend escape! The sauna and hot tub were great and the fire-pit overlooking the lake made for memorable days. My personal favorite was the sleeping nook which was so comfy and cozy. We were initially a bit nervous with my fiancé being 6’5 but everything worked out perfectly. Thank you for an amazing and peaceful weekend!
