The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

Me and the boys had bachelor weekend at Jason’s house! The pictures still don’t explain the full picture, the house is simply GORGEOUS. I will recommend Jason’s house to friends and family and will be back anytime I visit TC! Thank you Jason for letting us use your home.

Green Lake Getaway was exactly what we needed for a visit to the winter wonderland that is northern Michigan! Greeted by a pristine clean home and a generous hot cocoa bar welcome gift, it took no time at all for our group of 4 adults and 3 children 4 and under to settle in. Shana was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our trip to be a success. We had right around 6 to 8 inches of fresh snow which made skiing at nearby Crystal Mountain and playing in the backyard with the kiddos a blast! It also made hanging out in the well-maintained hot tub a magical experience... Our favorite feature of the home was the front sunroom sitting area, which allowed us to soak in the warmth of a sunrise over the frozen lake with our favorite coffee in hand, and then have fun wine inspired chats in the evening. If you're looking for a very peaceful, clean place to stay, with a generous host - look no further!

Jennifer-- I would give you all 10 stars if that was an option! The pictures and description does not do it justice. It is far superior to a place I stayed earlier in the summer--no comparison! We loved the welcome basket and all the thoughtful extras. Too bad it was too windy for a bonfire and smores Sat night. I only wish we had a longer stay to do all we wanted. Thanks for having the canoe and kayaks available. You were super responsive and helpful with any contact or needs. Thank you for being a true Super Host! We stayed here to visit family and we also wanted to do some skiing. We enjoyed being so close to the local ski hill, Snow Snake and also did day trips to Caberfae and The Highlands. It was perfect! We loved being across from the grocery store and so close to downtown! We went to Up North Coffee everyday and even placed a bulk order of their amazing mini cupcakes. We also loved the Jackpine Restaurant in downtown Harrison. The house was perfect! So clean and cozy!

This place was amazing and you were a great host!! We absolutely love it and it helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.. the only bad thing about it was the bar and some of the parking but it was amazing!!

Out in what I would consider the country, far away from the commotion of the bigger cities to relax, rewind and stargaze but close enough if you need to grab goods or want to do some exploring. No need to worry about bringing anything for the kitchen besides food to cook and maybe spices if you have certain ones you use, fully stocked with anything you could need to cook inside, bbq or even bake(from what I could tell) Heat works great although the bedroom near the bathroom was colder but not an issue since we didn’t need two bedrooms, heated fan in bathroom was a MAJOR plus. Boyfriend was able to catch some bass and pike off the pier, unfortunately didn’t get to take the little trolling boat out but I’m sure we would have had a blast catching more fish. Witnessed a Bald Eagle over the lake from the living room! Highlight of the stay was getting to experience the Auroras and SAR with our naked eyes!!

Charming place with everything you need labeled and at your fingertips. It was the perfect spot to getaway and unwind. Sarah and Kasey were excellent hosts.

The home was amazing for us and the dogs. The addition of the boat dock out the back yard was very helpful since we didn’t need to launch our boat each day. The firepit and complimentary fire wood was a great additional touch. Would love to stay again!

Stayed for a wedding in Traverse City. We felt right at home here. Comfortable, clean, beautiful views of the lake. Everything we wanted to do was within quick 10-15 min drive. Target, Walmart, and Sam’s Club very close by for groceries.

Beautiful, updated home, great outdoor setting and views of Big Platte. House was clean, and tidy. Nicely stocked. Host was very responsive and kind. The patio is large and has several seating options. The location is ideal and central to many other towns and beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If you like rustic charm with modern amenities, this is your place! We recently spent a week at the chalet and absolutely loved it. The whole property is beautiful and well-maintained. The landscaping has clearly been a labor of love over the years. The grounds and especially the lakeside are stunning and Ron and Noreen did it all themselves. So much was in bloom -the colors were fantastic. As far as the chalet, they have thought of everything and we could have easily packed less....we will next time! Having a full kitchen was great, the place was spotless and the views of the lake very relaxing. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the deck, swimming and kayaking. The pictures online are exactly what the chalet looks like. We were very pleased. Thanks Ron & Noreen!

great quiet cabin had plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids. no wifi or tvs so if your looking to disconnect this is perfect. We will be back in the future.

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!

This is our second time booking with them because we have enjoyed the experience so much. We will definitely be booking again in the future. The place is clean and well kept. Love the decor and the homey atmosphere. Hosts are very responsive. Did not have any complaints. Excellent stay!

Overall, it was a very wonderful stay! It was cozy & user friendly. It had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay for our ice fishing trip. Really appreciated that it was dog friendly too!
