My group really enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s place! She was super flexible with accommodating our needs and hospitable. We would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Pines on 59 was a great decision!! We were able to host our family for Thanksgiving and had ample space to have 28 people on the main floor without any complaints. The big dinner table allowed us to all have dinner together and really feel like a family. The kitchen had all the space we needed to cook up a feast! All the rooms were spacious and the number of bathrooms was great for the amount of guests we had. Evonne and Dan were around the property multiple times during our stay and were very nice to talk to. We definitely recommend Peaceful Pines and we will definitely be back!

The house has old world farm-house charm and good vibes. The layout provides a number of rooms to hang out in so that folks can have privacy. The back yard is like an Andrew Wheth painting, with a few weathered back buildings and a cornfield. While it is sandwiched between a few houses, some businesses, and on a busy road, it always felt private. Bring a small fan to provide white noise to override some of the traffic noise, which was mostly in the morning.

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

Wonderful stay. Close to everything and plenty of space. Very clean. Only down side was the 10am check out - but only because we are not early risers. Otherwise 100% recommend and would stay again.

From before booking to stay, Scott was helpful. Our son was getting married nearby and my husband is wheelchair bound and it is hard to find a home away from home that has a handicap entrance and home…this was perfect. Scott had the home open for us when we arrived so getting in was easy. We had an issue with my husband’s electric wheelchair getting to the bed with the furniture arrangement, but we reached out to Scott and he promptly rearranged for us. Then rolled up rugs to make maneuvering easier too. He went above and beyond. The quiet retreat was perfect for unwinding before and after the wedding. Our only regret was not having more time to spend at the home to truly enjoy the tranquility.

We've stayed at Elizabeth's place for the second time now and both experiences have been fantastic! Elizabeth is a great host who is incredibly responsive and thoughtful towards her guests and if there are any needs. The space is is so cute and clean, and I'd definitely come back again if we needed a place to stay in Madison!

The photos of this listing did not portray just how welcoming and comfortable Tricia's place was. The kitchen and bathroom were completely stocked with supplies. The main livingroom was comfortable and really cozy. The 3rd floor rooms were pretty magical. There were comfortable beds; plenty of blankets and pillows; games, books and puzzles galore; all nestled under the rafters. Two skylights offered natural light and views of DeForest skies and budding trees. We cannot recommend this listing highly enough. Tricia communicated regularly via the Airbnb app, to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you, Tricia.

Great place near Devil's Head resort! It's less than a 3 minute drive so we were able to easily drive back to rest/eat in the afternoon and then head back to the slopes for a night ski session. The bathrooms and linen are extremely clean; the living spaces are spacious. The dining table/area is smaller but not a big issue - the kitchen has a complete set of cookware and microwave/fridge. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Valerie has a truly magical yard! It’s a great area to get away for a little R&R. The place comes stocked with everything you would need for your stay. We appreciated having a kitchen to cook our meals. The location is great if you like to hike or kayak. The river is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Valerie was the best host we have had to date! She goes the extra mile to make sure your taken care of.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

Just a wonderful 3 day stay during a curling bonspiel in Columbia County. What a beautiful cabin tucked back in a private wooded area with a wealth of wildlife ( deer, turkeys, eagles). Melissa gets all the details right and takes away any worries associated with staying away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something that feels like home. . We loved staying at Matthew’s cabin. It was nice & peaceful and clean. Beds enough for an adult couple & 2 kids. It was nice being able to relax by the fire pit and it made it easy to cook our own breakfast having a kitchen. I’d definitely go back again :)

Really amazing property with great views and super convenient to get to Devil's Head which is right down the street. Will definitely be looking to visit again in the future!

After the first few hours of being there we were already regretting we didn't book for a 3rd night! This house was amazing! Fully stocked with all the comforts of home and then some. If you're looking for a family friendly location this is your spot, between the converted garage into a game room, the theater area in the basement and then just the overall grounds of the property. Our kids even got to sled down the little bunny hill! Can't wait to make this house a family tradition every year!

All I wanted for my weekend away was a little hiking with some peace and quiet. Marks cabin did the trick! The cabin was cozy and relaxing and had what I needed. The wood stove and sauna were incredible bonus points. His pottery studio and shop on the property are impressive and beautiful. Will be recommending this location to friends.

We wanted a little getaway for a night and this was the perfect place, especially for a couple. The cabin was super cozy and we felt right at home. I loved that it was right on the water, and even though we didn’t use the kayaks, I loved that it was an option to use with the stay. This little cabin makes me want to buy my own! The hosts were very responsive and friendly aswell! We will definitely be back♥️
