We had a great weekend in Madison staying at Douglas’s home. Amazing views of Lake Monona from the living room made the time at the house worth the trip. Highly recommended.

The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

The house has old world farm-house charm and good vibes. The layout provides a number of rooms to hang out in so that folks can have privacy. The back yard is like an Andrew Wheth painting, with a few weathered back buildings and a cornfield. While it is sandwiched between a few houses, some businesses, and on a busy road, it always felt private. Bring a small fan to provide white noise to override some of the traffic noise, which was mostly in the morning.

Fantastic stay! We were looking for a quiet spot to spend a few days with our family and Coffee with Buddy exceeded our expectations! The house is great- cozy cabin plus all the comfort and cool amenities! Heated toilets, stocked kitchen, games and even a “in case you forgot” box. So many thoughtful and helpful extras. Buddy and Walter added so much fun to our trip. My kids absolutely love them and can’t wait to go back. They felt like explorers wandering around the property collecting sticks with two new friends trailing behind them. Vacation pets without the responsibility. We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the balcony and the beautiful view with morning coffee and evening cocktails. Thanks to Kevin for a great stay!

Gorgeous! So relaxing, kids loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Amy and Marla’s place and really wish we could have been there longer. They went far and above the usual amenities you get at an Airbnb, they had excellent coffee, tea, toast, bagels, butter, cream cheese, coffee creamer, mylk and even freshly baked banana bread - it was all vegan too! They also had sunscreen, bug spray, tampons, bandaids and it goes on and on! This was so thoughtful and made all the difference. Their home is adjacent to a beautiful walking path that takes you into downtown Madison. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Rachel's place as an amazing stay. She was extremely responsive from the get-go and was flexible with our check-in time as we wanted to get in a bit earlier to celebrate the long weekend. It's really hard to find a home that is pet friendly and accomadates two large dogs but Rachel was extremely flexible and we had zero issues with bringing our big boys. We have four younger children and layout of the house was perfect. Many times we've stayed places where we are further away from the kids room which makes it hard to sleep easy. Not here. Set up like a home so security was not an issue especially that close to the water. Great area, extremely clean, felt like home walking in. No worries about bringing anything gross home with us. Will be a perfect spot in the summer due to its location and the dock. We will be bringing our friends back for sure! Thank you Rachel for a wonderful experience!

Joen and her husband were spectacular hosts! Stayed with my husband and 2 young children while I had a nearby work conference. The place was just as listed with all amenities we needed. The pool was great for the kids while I was away during the day. Plenty of space for the 4 of us to live for 3 days!

Wonderful location for a family gathering. 10 of us stayed here at Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfy and our dog enjoyed the large yard. This was our second time renting this house and we would happily stay here again.

This was a really great place, I'd definitely stay again. Right in downtown Madison, walkable to lots of restaurants, very close to the conference center. I even walked to the UW campus from here (just to visit, might be too long of a walk for every day). The space was super clean and I loved the decor. If I was looking for a furnished long term stay in the area, I'd choose here. The only negative I experienced is that it is literally in the middle of a construction zone right now, so it is much noisier than normal city traffic (but only during the day). This looks like a temporary problem, until the building across the street is finished.

This peaceful, private retreat was just what we needed while visiting family in the hospital in Madison. Jordyn meet us at checkin and made us and our dog feel right at home. The queen bed was super comfortable! We enjoyed the nearby walking trail and the pizza shop and Grace coffee in McFarland. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was really nice and comfortable. Clean. Pictures and description were right on. Private Patio and entrance is very nice.

We wanted a little getaway for a night and this was the perfect place, especially for a couple. The cabin was super cozy and we felt right at home. I loved that it was right on the water, and even though we didn’t use the kayaks, I loved that it was an option to use with the stay. This little cabin makes me want to buy my own! The hosts were very responsive and friendly aswell! We will definitely be back♥️

We stayed for an extended weekend and enjoyed our stay! The place is identical to the photos and it’s in a nice neighborhood with plenty to do.
