Great place to stay, beautiful views, very clean and comfortable, high speed internet, definitely will be back!!! Very easy to communicate with owners, always responded within minutes, I can say only positive things about our experience!!!!! 😊

We stayed at Anthony’s place while exploring different attractions in Shawnee National Forest. The house was nicely updated and appointed, nestled on a hillside on Lake of Egypt. Beds and furnishing were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, with a wonderful deck to enjoy the outdoors. It made for a relaxing break!

Quiet space in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room for multiple families to both come together and spread out. Well stocked with necessities and the pool is a great amenity!

This a beautiful property. We spent a lovely weekend here and enjoyed the setting. It was great for three couples. We used the main house and one of the cabins. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside and sitting by the fire at night. Thanks for a great weekend

perfect clean place to stay great views

We enjoyed our stay at Lake of Egypt! The home is beautiful with very thoughtful decor which made us feel right at home. There is lots to do in the surrounding area (great state parks and outdoor areas) which we really enjoyed. Looking forward to coming again when the weather warms up, thank you for sharing your home with us!

My brother and I were crossing the country with our bass boat, fishing lakes along the way. The Lake of Egypt is a very beautiful lake with great smallmouth bass fishing! Michelle's place was a perfect place to stay! The settings were very beautiful and very clean. We're right on the lake with the boat slip in front. We were able to watch her boat and leave it in slip made fishing the lake very accommodating. The place very beautiful place to stay and will definitely be back.

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

This cabin is perfect for a couple’s getaway. Private, peaceful and adorable! We truly enjoyed the coziness of the space, all the decorations and small details pushed it to the next level. Would highly recommend(:

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. We really enjoyed our few days in the Shawnee Nat Forest area and we were well located to explore. Wish we had more time! Highlight of the trip for my daughters was the ziplining right down the street, highly recommend. Stargazing from the hot tub was a close second. Lots of good hiking around too. Beautiful site and the cabin had everything we needed to unplug for Spring Break

The cabin was clean, secluded and very peaceful. We will stay there again when visiting family. Thank you Tom for a nice stay!

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We’d definitely stay here again! My favorite part was the view of the bight sky stars through the large bedroom window.

It is an older cabin in the woods. Very nice and quiet. We were able to swim and fish in the pond. The kids had a blast catching the bluegill and bass. The pond has a sand beach. We will come stay in some of the other cabins in the future. Tom was always easy to speak to. We did not have any issues that we needed Tom to address.

Perfect place for a small girls getaway to celebrate a birthday and upcoming wedding. Between the beautiful views and the beautiful cabin, you will have no regrets staying here. Hope to return soon!
