Fantastic location if you are active and like to walk. Easy walk to market, restaurants, drug store etc and not too far to heart of Frenchman and the Quarter. Cute yard and nice hot tub. Walls are somewhat thin but mostly very quiet when we were home and very quiet at night. Felt very comfortable and at home in this unit. Super clean!! King bed was sooooo comfortable. Loved so much extra bedding, pillows and blankets throughout. Great light!

This place was exactly what I had hoped for. It had a beautiful view of nature, simple decorations, and a place that let my mind relax. The short walk to the beach and everything that you needed to enjoy a stroll was a nice touch. Looking forward to slipping in the jacuzzi in the evening was exciting. My husband and I really enjoyed our time together here. It was a perfect weekend getaway from home and my most favorite Airbnb that I have ever stayed in.

It was a beautiful property and home! Every detail was thoughtful from pool towels outside, sun screen, charged speaker, everything you could need in the kitchen, pool toys and floats, little outdoor fire table, comfy beds. It was super clean and smelled great! The most beautiful and unique backyard I could have imagined! My kids loved the super deep pool and hot tub and so many fun lights at nighttime! Easy drive to downtown New Orleans, nice and generally quiet neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants for anything you need! My only surprise was that the hosts live on the property, which wasn’t an issue as they were very friendly, I was just unaware! It was our first time in NOLA and staying here worked perfectly for our family of 6!

D&S's place was nice and comfortable , the only part is they only had one TV but other than that place was great , not very far from burbon st and other places

Overall, we had a great experience with this host including consistent communication. The home was nice & clean and close to alot of places. We had a couple electrical issues, but the host was very responsive & attempted to correct the issues. We look forward to staying again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable. It was clean. The hot tub was wonderful. Outdoor sitting areas were a favorite. The golf cart was a lot of fun. And it’s close to the beach for long walks or lazing around.

Amazing stay! Gary’s house exceeded expectations and my family loved it. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice. Gorgeous, unique, spacious house full of New Orleans character and the backyard is a true oasis. We spent most of the time in the pool and hot tub. It’s obvious what an incredible amount of love and time went into creating this property! The location off of Magazine St. couldn’t be better. Shopping/food/drinks all within minutes, grocery store at the end of the block, we didn’t even use the car. So close to action yet the house felt quiet and secluded. Perfect, couldn’t ask for more! 100/10, can’t wait to stay again!

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. Just wanted to share our fantastic experience at the ARBB we stayed at. We absolutely loved the pool and the charming units. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Wilson, who went out of his way to take care of us during our stay. Check-in and checkout were smooth and hassle-free. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance to just about anything. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

We enjoyed our time at Spencer's place. The description of the townhome and its surroundings is very accurate. We were a family of 9 adults and 1 infant visiting for Christmas, and Spencer's unit met all of our needs. Spencer is a great host and he really wants to make sure his guests have a good experience. He was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay. He also provides direct access to his property managers. The property manager assigned to us during our stay was very helpful and checked in with me each day via text to make sure everything was ok and to see if we had any concerns. We had difficulty getting the home bluetooth speaker system to work, and Spencer and the property manager worked to get the issue resolved very quickly. We traveled with 2 extra large SUVs, and never really had any problem parking on the street directly in front of the Airbnb. There are also some eateries and bars in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Michael was a very responsive host. He answered every question. Maintenance was frequently on property. Other guest in compound were friendly. Courtyard was so relaxing and beautiful. One Uber driver complimented the neighborhood as hugely improved, safe and popular. Thanks for a lovely stay in NOLA.

My friends and I had a fantastic time and were comfortable at The Chateau. Prior to our arrival, Michael was very responsive to questions. At the time of arrival, Wilson was extremely helpful and friendly. Other folks working at The Chateau were lovely and warm. It's a great location, allowing us to walk to almost every destination we hoped to visit. The outdoor space was so comfortable, and other guests were respectful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will definitely consider The Chateau for future visits to New Orleans!

Had a fabulous family Christmas vacation at this Airbnb! Wilson was the on site property manager/concierge and he was accessible, responsive, friendly and communicated wonderfully to any concerns we had. Bathrooms and kitchen were well done. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable with good bedding. Fun to stay in a famous chef’s previous home. Courtyard was wonderful - we spent a lot of time out there. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub was unavailable from our first day through our second to last day. That was a top amenity priority for me in choosing this property. Wilson, was diligent in getting it fixed and communicating about the status, however. I would certainly return here for future visits to New Orleans!

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

We loved our stay! We shared the cabin with another family and we had such an enchanted weekend there. The house is very comfortable and the big porch is incredible. The grounds were amazing, we loved exploring the cypress swamp, running in the woods and spending time up and down the creek. At night we built fires, star-gazed and enjoyed the hot-tub. Both the kids and adults had a great time.

We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

My girls loved this place! The house had plenty of amenities, and the owner was very responsive with the few questions we had. Easy check in and Easy to find because the instructions are very clear and precise. Not to far to hit up New Orleans and Baton Rouge located right between them, and then get home to a peaceful location! Would definitely stay there again

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done.
