We had the best stay. Maggie and Scott were very communicative and friendly — even helping us acquire a parking pass which allowed us to park on the streets near the house. The house is charming with skylights and an awesome back patio. Our dog loved sitting in the sun out back and also enjoyed meeting other dogs on walks around the neighborhood and in Stanton Park just to the north. We adored that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The location is stellar for anyone who wants to be in the adorable Capitol Hill neighborhood and easily walk to The Mall, Eastern Market, and Navy Yard. We look forward to staying again!

Kyle was great and had great communication. He let us know about a broken hand rail on the stairs to the basement (there was one on both sides, so no issues). He had a handy man come and fix it during our stay, while we were out. Always responded to questions right away, like the TV didn't have netflix logged in like promised, but he offered to give me the login, I just used my own account. No issues there.

Great place to stay! Very nice home and was easy for us to drive to restaurants and tourist spots. The house was really nice, beautiful kitchen. Beds super comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cute and quaint space in a quiet and quaint part of town. Had a great stay. Candace and Todd mention they have kids and pets and you might hear them running around. I heard a minor pit or pat. Not an issue at all. They obviously respect their guests. Very clean. Thanks.

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

Patricia and Guillaume’s home and the grounds are absolutely lovely. Huge floor to ceiling windows out to the large yard in back. Big kitchen, great patio for barbequing, amazing pool with all the chairs, loungers, and floaties you need. Ping pong, pool table, comfortable, super clean, and really felt like you were invited into someone’s special place. This home is even better than what the photos and listing describe. The hosts are friendly, helpful, gracious, and excellent communicators. Highly recommend.

The Hunt Box was a wonderful place to stay for our family. Very quiet and peaceful and an amazing view. It’s very nicely decorated with high end appliances. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Absolute peaceful oasis. This home gives you every essence of Virginia Wine Country. The home was quaint and the deer came up every morning to greet us. I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open! Thanks again

Great place with a great view and was comfortable and nice. Plenty of activities, nature, and restaurants and breweries in the area, not to mention it is wine country. Very private and Baker was a great host.

Everything was beautiful and well put together, nothing was out of place. Everything was clean and not one question was left unanswered. Very easy to get what you need like the grocery store across the street (Wegmans) and you can get something to bite at any store/restaurant near you there is a movie theater as well. Hosts were able to answer very promptly, would highly recommend this spot in Alexandria.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß , man hat alles was man braucht. Das Bett ist für 2 Personen ziemlich kuschelig. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit , im Sommer mit Pool wäre es wahrscheinlich noch schöner gewesen. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig was aber an der amerikanischen Bauweise liegt . Leider gingen die 2 Wochen viel zu schnell um und wir müssten wieder nach Hause. Wir hatten netten Kontakt mit dem Vermieter er war immer sehr hilfsbereit , leider haben wir uns nie persönlich getroffen.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts provided some snacks for us to help us get started on our trip. Even though the weather wasn’t great our kids loved the house. They enjoyed the books and games available. And we were able to get out to a playground for a little bit between the rain. The house had everything we needed to feel like home away from home. Highly recommend

It was our family’s first time visiting the Washington DC area, and also our first time booking through Airbnb. This very spacious, beautiful, and clean house exceeded our expectations and contributed to our wonderful vacation experience while also providing us with the comfort of feeling right at home. Lisa et Brian sont des hôtes vraiment adorables, ils ont proposé des services qu’ils n’étaient pas supposé nous proposer et se sont vraiment investis pour faire de notre séjour un moment paisible et d’exception. Nous avons adoré le calme de l’emplacement. Le jardin à l’arrière et les petites promenades de quartier avec bébé étaient très agréables. Nous sommes restés 10 semaines dans ce logement et n’avons pas regretté notre choix. Brian nous a dit qu’il allait veiller à rafraîchir un peu l’appartement avec de petits travaux, et la décoration ainsi que l’équipement sont vraiment super. Wonderful accommodations and very comfortable. Very tastefully decorated and charming!!! Loved the exposed brick walls!!! We were a block and a half from my son‘s apartment, which was perfect for a short visit with him and for enjoying what Columbia Heights has to offer. We will be back!!!
