I believe I have now stayed here 3 or 4 times! It’s my go to on the lake and I won’t settle for any other place! This place is a must stay for anyone visiting the area, and it is especially fisherman friendly. Great boat access and great parking!

I don't know if I'll ever be ok with 700.00+ for less than half a Friday, full sat and half a sun. with that said, it's nothing personal. overall it's a beautiful place with a beautiful view and my girlfriend and I were absolutely thrilled about being there. I think if the hot tub was included in your stay, and not paid separately for, it would be even better.

Henry and April were an amazing host, they were super respectful and responsive. They were flexible and helpful for checking in as we had to check in a bit earlier due to winter storms. Whenever we had a any questions or help they were there quickly. The view and area was beautiful even in the winter and we enjoyed being there. Will definitely visit again in summer time.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

We were in town for my Mother's funeral and we're glad to find Ritas place available. She was super helpful and communicative the entire time.

Very comfortable stay, super clean & neat. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple hot meals. Relaxing hot tub just right for two, and oodles of clean towels. Really want to say I appreciate hosts like Jamieson who politely request a few reasonable housekeeping tasks of his guests, instead of long lists of required chores and exorbitant cleaning fees. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a few days at Troy’s lake house. Contacted Troy about the Heat not being on but with a flip of a switch it warmed right up. Troy was very responsive during our stay. We will be back to enjoy in the warm weather!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Daniel was an awesome host ! Stayed here on a weekday and had everything ready for me and my friends - was very easy to book with and was accommodating as well as attentive . The place was beautiful with a mix of old, new and fun designs throughout the apartment. Will definitely book again next time we are in the area :)

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

Enjoyed our time in the area. I'm from the lake area and enjoyed being centrally located to friends and family. Its a quiet location for the most part. Commonly refered to as a carriage house, located over the garage, you do here conversations and comings and goings of people adjacent to the property. We found everything we needed in the apartment. Bed was firm. which we enjoy, very cofortable. Linens were nice and served our stay well. Heating and cooling worked well and there was ample hot water. It takes a bit to reach the upstairs, but once it does, the pressure is good. Be aware that the stairway up is quite steep...may not be suitable for some. There are hand rails and a light in the stairway. There are a number of restaurants in the area...M29 diner is a favorite and Marine City Fish Company just up the river is also one of our area favorites. We would maybe stay here again if in the area, but think we prefer fully private dwellings.

Olivia’s place was perfect for us. It was 4min to the arena where we were watching a hockey tournament. There is a convenience store and diner on the same block. Perfect for our needs. The unit is comfortable, we had everything we needed. Beautiful view. Many thanks.

Stayed at this place with a couple of my friends and it was great! We had a beautiful lake that was around 5-10 minutes walk and it was very beautiful during sunrise and sunset. The home was clean and the instructions were simple and clear to follow! Thanks for letting us stay here!

very quick to respond. They remembered a promised DVD player was not there, offered to bring one the next day, but ordered one and had it delivered by 0800. Very welcoming home for a winter getaway of 4 friends. seating area nice for movie and Lions game watching. Plenty of VERY HOT water, for 4 showers! Bedrooms all upstairs as is the main bath. canal out the backside. ONLY NEGATIVE is the parking across the road. (the road is JUST beyond the front door) unloading and loading a little challenge, but doable. Definitely a comfortable home and great stay for a friend getaway.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as peaceful and perfect as the first time! Everything is there that's needed for a cozy and comfortable stay, including a gas fireplace and extra fuzzy blankets.

Great little place minutes from Wheatley. We had a wonderful time and ended up staying an extra night. Such a gem!

We needed a place on very short notice as we made a booking mistake on dates and Julie was able to respond quickly and accommodate us within a matter of hours. The cottage was bigger than anticipated, clean, and had a beautiful view of the lake. Just what we needed!

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

The Lakehouse is beautiful, both inside and out. Everything that you would need for a stay is available, and Lukas even provides a handy guide to the house and the surrounding area. My husband and I stayed for a weekend with friends and our 4-year-old doggie, and we could not have been happier. Hoping to come back, sooner than later! We really loved it.
