Such a charming cabin with many thoughtful touches! I hope to return for future visits.

Our short stay at Bill & Jen’s place was like coming home after a long day of traveling. The 2 bedrooms living room and large kitchen was larger than expected. The bed was very comfortable. Too bad we only stayed one night. The neighborhood was quiet, which is a plus. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore Springfield, IL. Most of the sights were so very close!

Beautiful home with lots to do for my grown children and their children. We had 8 adults and 8 children. The weather was kinda cool, so we just took advantage of relaxing in the house and bonding as a family. The kids enjoyed the video game room and ping pong and pool table and other games in the garage. The hot tub was definitely a plus. Thanks for letting us use this wonderful home. We immediately felt very comfortable; everything was as described (actually, even better!) and we felt like we were staying at an old friends house. Super clean, with everything needed if you want to prepare your own meals. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. I think it would also be perfect for a small family. We felt safe and the area was quiet and convenient. We spent most of our time in Springfield, which was an easy 30 min drive. We loved being able to come back to Petersburg to relax. Highly recommend this property; the owners were a joy to work with!!

The place was well kept and location of rental was perfect for downtown.

This was a neat and place. It is different from so many other places. It was fun to play all the games that were available on site. It would be really fun in the summer when you could enjoy the outside amenities. It is close to downtown and all the things to do in Springfield. We would definitely go back.

We had such a good time. It was the perfect spot for a fall getaway. It was beautiful and so comfortable. Great way to camp! We’re already talking about when we’ll be back.

This was our 2nd stay and we had a very relaxing short visit. We hope to continue grabbing some short getaways at this lovely home.

This was a great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. Quiet and secluded. Bill was great and very responsive. When we ran out of propane he offered to come right by and replace it. We did it ourselves and he reimbursed us for the cost. Always responded quickly. Only regret is that we weren't here in the summer when everything was green. Plan to come back.
