Crystal was an absolutely Stellar Hostess and I would have no problem whatsoever giving her the highest recommendation for Airbnb we have stayed with her for quite some time and anyone who is able to have her as a hostess is very lucky

A great place just on the edge of town. Easy to ride bike to trails and bars. Cool small fire pit out back and a large living room, kitchen, dining area. We easily gathered and played cards, cooked, watched TV together.

We absolutely had a blast staying in Michelle’s place, she does an excellent job of making you feel at home with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the coffee bar and the kitchen was perfect for are meals together. The snowmobiling was excellent and even better with the trail just behind the house. After our long days in the snow we sat in the beautiful sauna to wind down and it was so relaxing!! We would definitely recommend staying here and plan on staying here again ourselves when the next snowmobile season arrives. Michelle is so responsive she was always a text away and answered all our questions. The driveway was also nice with plenty of room for our truck and trailer. Thanks so much for an unforgettable weekend and good memories!!

Lots of recent updates and very spacious. Extra space and amenities in the lower level was a bonus. Wonderful to have access to the heated garage.

INCREDIBLY KID FRIENDLY! This house was perfect for my family with an infant and toddler! My toddler had some toys and books to play with and my infant had access to a pack and play and a high chair! We will look for this listing first anytime we make our way back to Duluth!

The house was easy to find, and was really nice. The space was great, well decorated, and was clean. The host communicated well, and helped with recommendations for our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The house was spotless and felt very clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We used the jet tub every day, but take note that it takes about an hour and a half to fill up! And I had forgotten my shampoo/conditioner at home and realized too late that there was nothing at the house. So make sure to pack your own! Overall, it was the perfect place to escape with my family! A quiet, cozy getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Our kids were already asking when we’re coming back as we pulled out of the driveway:)

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Debbie is a great, responsive host! Her place was perfect for my family of four. It was great being so close to Duluth without paying Duluth prices! There were some nice amenities at the house to help us relax during our down time. My 3 year old loved the toys, and we all took advantage of the streaming services (e.g. Disney+, Prime) and the coffee/tea/cocoa/snack station. We did occasionally hear footsteps from the upstairs unit (it's an old, creaky building), but that didn't really bother us.

I have stayed here before back in 2022 and really enjoyed it. The size was nice and everyone was easy to work with. For the cost, this is comparable to a hotel with much less room. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks...

On a sku trip to the UP, great place to crash, and catch our breath. Wonderful host, will definately book again if I'm in the area.

It was such a lovely stay. Wonderful and private place. Close to the hikes we wanted to go on and such a comfortable, homey environment.

This is a very nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay here. Accurately described, but I still was pleasantly surprised when seeing it in person. Charming older home on a huge lot and large parking area. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, appliances, etc. We had our young dog with and I appreciated the solid swinging door between the kitchen and living area, allowing me to confine my dog in the kitchen with me while others slept. There was also a large yard for dog walking. But in winter, the snow's pretty deep and the road is pretty busy. So I needed to drive out somewhere to give my dog a mile or 2 walk. Although the upstairs tenants were very quiet and respectful, you could still hear footsteps above. Not a problem if you keep "normal" hours. Hope our pup's yipping some didn't disturb them!

The location of this cabin was spectacular, close to many trails and short drive into town for restaurants or groceries. The view all around the property was breathtaking and there were so many wonderful amenities provided. We had such a great time and this place helped us unplug and enjoy quality time. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time. If you're able to, add an extra night!

My boyfriend and I went for a weekend to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and it was perfect!! Beautiful and peaceful cabin that looked just like the photos with all the amenities you could need and more. So many amazing hiking trails less than ten minutes away. It was a great cabin and an amazing trip that was a great price!! Thank you Laura:)

My boyfriend and our three teenage boys stayed at the cabin for 5 days and never ran out of things to do. Although the weather was anything but great when we got there, we definitely made the most of our trip. Everyone LOVED the pool table. I am from the UP so it felt like home for me and loved being able to go find a hot pasty at the grocery store ! It was so peaceful and barely any traffic, we would go out in the road at night and look at the stars. Very peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to enjoy it again when the weather is nicer! The kids also had a grand time exploring the woods behind the house!

This was our 4th annual winter getaway to the cabin. We always enjoys the serenity of the cozy cabin and it's lake front views, which makes it perfect for ice fishing. After a day on the ice, we warm up in the sauna or by the fire, work on puzzles and enjoy home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen.

This was a perfect spot for my wife and I. It was perfectly peaceful and we were able to enjoy a week in nature away from work. Exactly what I would hope for when taking a trip back home to Michigan.

Perfect for a winter getaway! Snowy trails on site made for great cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fireplace perfect for relaxing after long day on the trails.

We loved our stay at Bob’s cabin! It was a lovely spot up the gunflint and the cabin was cozy and relaxing. Bob was an amazing host and reached out to provide info on check in and local places to eat and visit. The cabin was very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. The furniture was very comfortable and though we didn’t use the fireplace, appreciated having the option. Thank you for sharing your cabin! We hope to visit again soon.
