Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The space had everything we needed, from well-thought-out amenities to a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a great time; they were respectful, responsive, and flexible. The house is well-equipped, and the hut tub was terrific. We definitely will reserve there again!!

Location close to grocery shopping and great restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked beyond expectation.

Louisa’s place was absolutely incredible! It was spacious, private, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the outside area as well as it was nice to get some sun and fresh air. The location was perfect—close to casinos, stores, and all the attractions Reno has to offer. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

We loved our stay here! It was cozy, cute, and clean! It was also a great location - walking distance from a great restaurant, and near Grover hot springs and some great hikes. Highly recommend!

Reno Roost is the perfect size and location for any visit to Reno! Enjoy easy access to parks, the river, and downtown as well as an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. We stocked up on groceries at the store just a few minutes from the house and enjoyed a cozy evening around the outdoor fire pit. We walked to Idlewild Park and especially enjoyed coffee and breakfast from Hub Coffee Roasters and Hand Craft Coffee Company. Deb provides all of the information you need for an easy & comfortable stay and then some!

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

Lemon Canyon Ranch is everything the reviews say and more. Nestled in the woods, this private and cozy cabin offers stunning views of the Sierra Valley. The surrounding space is perfect for dogs, with hiking trails just steps from the doorstep. While the road in can be snowy or muddy at times, it only adds to the property's charm. The ranch itself is expansive, and Eveline warmly welcomed us to explore the grounds and historic barns. She was incredibly responsive and helpful with suggestions throughout our stay. This is exactly what Airbnb is all about—welcoming, personal, unique, and an unforgettable experience.

Lori's cottage was a perfect place for a monthly stay in Lake Tahoe. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. It was so nice to be away from the city and enjoy the silence. We felt right at home here in our Cozy Cottage. The cottage is just a short walk to a nearby lake front park, and perfect driving distance to grocery stores and Heavenly village. Only about a 15 to 20 minute drive to beautiful Emerald Bay. We really loved the kitchen and also enjoyed having the wood burning stove at night. The backyard was nice as well. Bedrooms were also very comfortable. Lori is a wonderful host and quick to respond if you ever have any questions. We hope to return in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The gorgeous views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better—super close to the ski slopes while still feeling private and peaceful. The house had everything we needed, making it a comfortable and seamless getaway. One small note—the air from the heater was quite dry, so I’d recommend bringing a small humidifier or using the old trick of placing a pot of water on the stove to add some moisture. Other than that, this place was perfect—the views and location are truly stellar! Would absolutely stay here again.

Greg's place is lovely in it's location and quality of the the cottage - everything is brand new! While it's a nice little getaway into the mountains, you should be warned you should have things to do when you get there, as there is no tv or games in the home yet. This wasn't a problem for us because we brought our laptops, but it's something to note. The town of Markelville was very small and everyone was kind that we encountered. We would stay here again based on how great out stay went.

It was a tight squeeze at times, but they were very understanding and willing to help.

We love staying here. The house is comfortable and well equipped. There's good food and the lake/beach within walking distance. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and friendly.

Ernie was very understanding and quick to respond to any questions I had. I had a situation come up where I may not have made it, Ernie promised a refund and was very understanding about the situation. Fortunately I was able to make it and the place was very cozy! Great backyard for my dog and very close to everything as well

This is a great home base to stay and do winter activities with kids. There's a beachside park in walking distance, along with plenty of food options and a bus stop that takes you all around Tahoe including to Northstar. My toddler loved the backyard in the snow. All the appliances worked, the heater kept the whole house evenly heated, everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
