Perfect place to stay for a quiet get away. And the surroundings are lovely.

We were blown away with Anna’s place when we arrived, the view, the setting and the Cottage itself. We made a lot use of the Outdoor setting, which was an amazing addition to the accommodation. Would definitely stay again, we loved every minute in Manapouri. Mark and Suzi

Wir haben spontan eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Te Anau gesucht und diese wundervolle Unterkunft gefunden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und gut eingerichtet und die Kommunikation mit Caro sehr gut. Betten super bequem und die Gegend ist absolut ruhig. Das Stadtzentrum ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und man kann wunderschöne Ausflüge in der Gegend machen. Wenn man einfach mal ausspannen möchte dann kann man das auf der tollen Terasse oder vor dem warmen Kamin. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, das wir den Aufenthalt zweimal verlängert haben. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und sollten wir wieder in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen würden wir ohne zu zögern nochmal bei Caro buchen.

We so enjoyed staying at Anna's home. The location was so convenient for getting to town and walking to the lake. Excellent base for all the must do attractions. Close to grocery store. Appreciated the personal touches and stocked kitchen. Thanks again for sharing your cozy cottage Anna. We had a magnificent time!

Enjoyed our short and cosy stay! Probably weird to highlight, but this was a great place to do laundry (convenient setup) 😄

Tara’s place was a fantastic position. Perfect for our stay with four adults. Tara provided little extras in the kitchen and bathroom. Tara was really quick to respond to questions and any problems.

Marks place met all our expectations and more. The home had everything we needed for our three night stay, and we could see the effort that has gone in to providing all the amenities that visitors might need inTe Anau. Communication was amazing, and Mark was extremely accommodating and generous. The information on the local activities, sights and area was also amazing. Such great ambassadors for the Te Anau and Fiordland. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Te Anau wanting to experience a kiwi crib and hospitality. Thank you.

Julian’s place was really spacious and comfortable! We enjoyed cooking while we were there as the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, utensils, oven, baking sheet/bags and condiments. There was also an outdoor grill available for use. There were instructions to take note of hot water usage and stagger bathing timings but we didn’t encounter any issues with that.

This apartment was gorgeous, nice clean and modern. Beautiful quiet neighborhood with a park and lake just across the road, made for beautiful sunsets. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook for yourself (not that we did 😜). It was a great place to relax after a day’s sightseeing. Justine was very quick with responses. A great place just a couple of mins drive from the town center, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting space and comfort.

Spotlessly clean. Easy access to the property. Comfy bed. Really nice view in a nice quiet location. Added bonus with having access to a washer dryer with detergent supplied, especially as we’d been away for so long. Thanks for having us.

This was such a cozy and comfortable cottage, with thoughtful touches and a kind and responsive host! The bed was very comfortable, a great sleep! The cottage was laid out well and felt like plenty of space for two of us.

We had such a wonderful stay at the cottage! Checking in was very easy, the space was clean and comfortable, the location was perfectly situated next to Lake Te Anau, and checking out was simple. Te Anau was everything we hoped it would be. We hope to be able to visit again and if we do we would definitely stay at the cottage.
