A lovely, peaceful little stay! Perfect little home away from home while we were traveling. The owner was kind enough to let our dog have a run in the paddock which was wonderful. And the owner's two dogs, Blue and Rocket were absolute sweeties. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through!

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

Nothing beats the location and the view of the place. Close to the church and everything else. Apartment is spacious and comfortable. One of our favourite stays in our New Zealand trip.

Our overnight stay at Gerard's place was excellent. Very idyllically located, he has created a green oasis where you can only feel comfortable. The accommodation was super clean, with everything you could need. Secluded and private. A delicious breakfast was provided, featuring fruit and jam from his own garden. The next morning, we enjoyed an exclusive tour of the 4-hectare garden. Absolutely recommendable!

This is truly an exceptional property for a variety of reasons. Check-in is done at a local resort office to assist in finding the home, because it is quite new and doesn't have an address to plug into GPS. The check-in hosts were extremely friendly and gave recommendations for local establishments and things to do. Once that's done, it's a short drive to the property which can't be seen from the road (amazing). The views from the massive panoramic windows are truly breathtaking. The sun can be quite bright in the evenings, but powered shades in every room easily take care of that! The hot tub is such a nice treat, and since the area is part of the dark sky project, you can see as many stars as your eyes can handle. It is truly remarkable. The house was clean, sparsely decorated, which we liked, and it fit in with the surroundings quite well. Supremely peaceful and quiet, we highly recommend the Bunker House.

Sehr gemütliches zu Hause. Alles war vorhanden. Man hatte genug Platz und Privatsphäre. Anmerkung: die Zentrale Klimaanlage war laut und zum Heizen umständlich, Schlafzimmer 1 wird schlecht beheizt, da die Belüftung direkt an der Tür ist, hinzukam, dass dort seltsamerweise am wenigsten Luft rauskam, obwohl der Raum an dem Bedienpult mit der höchsten Temperatur eingestellt war. In dem Fall wären einfache Heizstrahler besser.

Surrounded by amazing views with great star-gazing and sunrises over Timaru. Jillian was very responsive and accommodating when some trip details happened to change. Much appreciated and would happily stay again

We loved our stay at the Gingerbread Cottage! A charming, traditional cottage full of character and so cosy! Great location, easy walk to town and Talbot Forest and river access on the doorstep. Ben's a fantastic host, he really went the extra mile for us - even putting up a Christmas tree for us! Will definitely stay again! Thank you Ben for making our stay so memorable and special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful modern home. It was well appointed with great amenities and Lynley was a wonderful host too. There was some confusion around the original booking but this was rectified in a prompt manner.
