We had a fantastic long weekend at this cabin and have already planned to come back next summer! Everything is as listed and we made some great family memories together. Fishing was great just 5 minutes across the bay and they have everything you might need onsite. A store (with LCBO ) and chip-stand are a five minute drive away as well. This place is truly exceptional! The host has clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, ensuring a unique experience for guests. From the hot tub to the fire pit, everything is well-designed and inviting. I highly recommend this spot!

I visited with my 3 sisters and we plan to come back next year with our families. The cottage gave us enough privacy, stunning view, we used the fire pit. Pamela and Dan were incredibly welcoming. I drove into Callander briefly and it had everything we needed, as did our cottage. Wish the hot tub was working but that was the only thing I can think of. See you in 2024!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. The cottage looks just as it does in the photos and had all the amenities of home. Definitely worth it!!

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Galyna’s cottage was as described. Everything worked well. The boat ramp on site was very convenient. Great location on the river. Pool table, air hockey, and ping pong table add fun activities. Great spacious cottage for a family getaway. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This place had everything we needed,, hot tub, sauna, cornhole, kayaks, canoes, a crockpot in the kitchen. Shelley was more than accommodating bringing us gas, Renee’s salad dressing since I forgot mine. Then for some reason the tv stopped working and boom there is a new tv! We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage with our family and friends. The interior of this cottage is absolutely stunning. Beautiful kitchen, lovely dining room and breathtaking Lakeview from massive windows from the live room. This place is located in a quiet and beautiful area with lots to do inside and out. A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

We stayed at Tyler, Steph, and Julie's cottage for a Fall fishing trip and it was the perfect spot! The lake is excellent for fishing, large and many places to scope out for all hours of the day... the firepit space was a great fit for our group of 5 to enjoy (we had forgotten our chairs and were thankful to see all the outdoor seating!) The cottage was one of the most well stocked Airbnb's we have stayed in, lots of helpful items in the kitchen. Our group noted we really would love to come back in the Summer time - there were so many games, a horseshoe pit, a whole separate bunkie, and lots of water toys that left us wanting to come back when the temps/waters are warmer with more friends for a true cottage staycation. 5/5, thank you for hosting us!

Best part of the cottage was the private sandy beach with shallow entry for the kids to enjoy. The water was crystal clear and very calm most days. The cottage was well equipped and everything was labelled and easy to find.

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

Great private cottage tucked away behind a small island and surrounded by forest. My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon here with our pup and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing northern getaway.

Everything was exceptional from how responsive and helpful Rebecca was to how gorgeous and pristine her place was. Because of how amazing our experience was, we will be making this an annual tradition. This location was perfect for a large family with plenty of space to sleep and relax. The large deck and gorgeous view really made for some beautiful memories. My children loved playing by the water , feeding the ducks and running around the large lawn. The large open concept living/dining/kitchen area made it easy to enjoy a coffee while watching the children by day and a glass of wine with a view by night. Regardless of the fact you are in a very beautiful secluded and private area, there is a grocery store fairly close which was perfect for any missing items. Everything is very new and clean , there was so much available to us there including a pack and play! We didn’t have to bring much! Thank you Rebecca!

We knew within the first 5 minutes, we had picked the right place. Eva and Peter met us there and made us feel right at home. The view of the lake was beautiful from sunrise to sunset. Every day was spectacular and we would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to have a quiet getaway. Swimming, canoeing, Cedar sauna, fishing and lots of R&R. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need and more.

Our family had a fantastic time! The sandy beach was a hit, same with the shallow waters. Great for younger kids! Endless fun with great activities provided for both indoor and outdoor. We would love to return someday!

My husband and I spent a week here. Brought both of our dogs. Was a lovely little cozy cottage. The water was nice and warm. The cottage was clean, and had everything we needed. Rene was very helpful. We’d definitely go back!
