We rented Chris’ cabin last minute to be available for our family after a natural disaster. He was extremely accommodating during a stressful time and was even able to extend our stay, without any hassle or delay, when our plans changed unexpectedly. A very kind & thoughtful host, we would recommend his cabin to anyone for any occasion!

Sandy is an amazing host! The property was exactly as described and matched the photos. Very clean property and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware utensils to make home cooked meals. She knew that I wasn't from the area and provided me with information for the area as well as upcoming festivities in the community. We had to make a last minute change to our reservation and extend our stay. She was very prompt with the responses and extremely amenable to our changes. She is very interactive with her guests and will respond quickly with any questions. I will definitely try to stay there again if I get the chance.

I was traveling solo with my dog, so I was a little nervous. I recommend downloading a map of the area on your device. Not because of poor directions. I wanted to take backroads to my friends’ home at Black Rock, so it was very important for navigation. With that said, once I got settled in, I felt safe. I loved the kitchen area, the back deck and the bed! There’s lots to see on the land and I enjoyed walking around and looking at rocks, plants, trees, and listening to birds. There’s lots of pileated woodpeckers, butterflies and a sweet pawpaw grove halfway up the driveway. Plus a little creek begins near the house. The place is well-stocked, I had everything I needed, and I was very pleased with Shelley’s communication! Once onsite the WiFi password gets you into a fast network and all I had to do was turn on WiFi calling. I slept twelve hours one night, it was so quiet. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I bet it’s beautiful in the fall/spring! Highly recommend!

Cabin was very nice, well stocked and in a great, end of road location which allowed for a peaceful and isolated setting. Close enough to town to quickly get to the restaurants we like in Mammoth Spring and Thayer. Will definitely stay at Wes's cabin again when we go back to this area.

This is a great little condo with plenty of space for two people and two dogs!

Our family of 6 spent Spring Break at the beautiful property. It was peaceful and had good access to the river. The family had a great time fishing and playing in the water. We loved the quiet. The property is secluded and it is on an extended amount of gravel roads. We will come back again.

It's easy to tell that these folks work in the education field based on how thorough and organized the guest info binder was! It was a great touch on top of an already great place!
