I’ve stayed in a number of well taken care of AirBnB‘s but I have never been in one with such an intentional health and wellness area. Back deck/yard is a beautiful and peaceful Zen center with hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna (and about the highest quality of each one can imagine having all to yourself!) The house was perfect as well—three really good size bedrooms with super comfortable mattresses, best stocked kitchen I’ve seen, and everything immaculately clean. You will be well taken care of and very rejuvenated in this home!

This place is an absolute gem. Wacky and fun, it’s a house with unique charm and character, something that is increasingly rare to find on Air BnB. The bedrooms are a little unconventionally arranged so if privacy for every single bed is your main concern, perhaps it’s not for you. Otherwise you’ll fall in love with this one-of-a-kind place like we did. There were 8 of us staying for SXSW and we really felt like we had a home base. Brian was attentive, flexible and helpful throughout our stay. The neighbourhood is ideal, and walkable. In a world of grey floored rentals and bland, heartless renovations, this spacious home is a whimsical breath of fresh air. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. George's place was perfect for our family! There was plenty of space for our family of 12 to spread out, and the communal space in the kitchen was amazing. They have truly thought of everything a guest might need. Very clean and modern, and a short drive to many of the sights and downtown.

As soon as I got into the property I noticed everything was really thought out, organized and maintained. It made it feel very comfortable and the property was beautiful. I saw some deer, a hawk and a lizard. I felt so relaxed here, it was way better than any hotel. Thank you for sharing your property with us. I highly recommend.

This home is charming. I loved my stay and my pups enjoyed the backyard and deck. The bathroom was redone to perfection. The decor is lovely and matched the cottage feel of this home. Would stay here again.

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Perfect location for our stay in Austin! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had booking a house on Airbnb. The house was clean, quite, and comfortable! Larry is very thoughtful and answered all of my questions before I thought to ask. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were all top notch. Flexible check-in and check-out. Just an overall good experience. Top of my list for the next trip to Austin.

I had a wonderful stay at this adorable tiny home! From the moment I arrived, everything felt cozy and inviting. The home is thoughtfully designed, making great use of space while still feeling open and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had all the essentials I needed for a relaxing getaway. The decor was charming, with little touches that added personality and warmth to the space. I especially loved the outdoor area and unique layout. The location was perfect. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I’d highly recommend this tiny home to anyone looking for a unique and cozy stay! I loved this place. Very cool interior, lovely outdoor space, and the location is terrific. Superquiet, but not far from downtown, it was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day at South by Southwest. Definitely hope to stay there again.

I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at Brunson’s place, so that says it all. It has been our home-away-from home in Austin, very conveniently located, clean, and a great host. We will certainly be staying there again!

Very quiet street with easy access to Barton Springs and some restaurants. The house has older construction and appliances, but everything worked well. Would recommend staying here for a casual trip.

John and Sherri’s place was even better than advertised! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the Backwoods BnB is a large inviting space. Our two young children had plenty to keep them occupied, and morning walks to visit Brandi and Bailey- the two resident longhorns- was a highlight for our son! The large open floor plan worked great for us, and allowed our little ones to tire themselves out before bed each night. Although secluded, the BnB was a great base for day trips to Pedernales Falls, Wimberly, Fredericksburg, and Enchanted Rock. Dripping Springs is also a short drive away for groceries, or a quick meal.

we definitely enjoyed our stay. Super peaceful and clean. I really liked that it had two restroom. The lake is dried up so you don't get the view from the balcony but you still get to see the deer roaming the area which is nice.

Such a beautiful home in a great location. It was super close to everything you would need. House was spotless, rooms were beautiful. I will definitely be coming back.

My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

Enjoyed our stay at Todd and Darlene’s. Todd was very responsive when we had a request. The garage apartment was very spacious and had all the things we needed for a longer stay in Austin. We would like to return next time we are in Austin for a week and hopefully make use of the pool a bit more.
