Beautiful home on an amazing property. Very peaceful and secluded. Kim was great and very responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommend.

The place is great, we used it as a home base for a multi-day fishing trip. Everything was super clean, and the whole house was well stocked. We had no problem keeping our boat at the dock and caught a few fish off of it as well. The location on the lake is very convenient, being almost directly across from the state park and very close to Sutton's Landing and Beaver Creek. In our pontoon boat, it was about a 10-minute ride from the house to these locations that had bait and snacks. It is also a short car ride to the 3 restaurants and gas station on this side of the lake, the breakfast and burgers from the River Deck gas station are pretty good. There is several kayaks, tubes, paddleboards and outdoor games to use, although during our trip, the water was too cold. We brought our toy poodle, the yard is completely fenced and safe, a dog would have to swim around the fence to get out. They even offered us a Very early check in, which was awesome. Would definitely rent again.+++

We stayed at Pear Tree on our journey from Ohio back to Florida after the funeral of my 22 year old nephew. The home was beautiful and full of charm. It's huge! The lodging accommodations far exceeded any hotel offering at double the price! Our Mini Sheepadoodle Muppet Max enjoyed the property immensely. My teen daughter didn't want to leave. We will be back on our next journey back to Ohio! Thank you for sharing your historic home!

Clean place that was able to fit our group of 10. On a beautiful lake, and we were able to check out lots of stuff within driving distance. Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at the Camden Cottage. It was the perfect amount of space and amenities, and was in immaculate condition when I arrived. I enjoyed the "sounds of the country" at sunrise each morning, including roosters crowing, horses neighing, and yes, dogs barking. I also felt completely safe in the area and spent time exploring it with my dogs. Camden Cottage was a very comfortable place to lay my head each night after a busy day and I very much appreciate the opportunity to stay there.

Our stay here was fantastic! Elizabeth was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with instructions. The property was peaceful and beautiful with lots of space and seating on the deck and by the fire. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for amenities. The location is close to town and within driving distance to Columbia and other fun things to do nearby. And being pet friendly was a huge plus! Definitely hope to visit there again soon!
