Lake Wateree : locations de vacances avec kayak

This vacation was just what our family needed. The perfect place to unplug and spend time together. Fishing, kayaking, reading in the hammock, and watching the sunsets were some of the highlights. The house is extremely well stocked: kitchen is great for preparing meals, a nice assortment of games, and the sauna was a nice way to end the day. Thank you for opening your home to us ❤️

The place is great, we used it as a home base for a multi-day fishing trip. Everything was super clean, and the whole house was well stocked. We had no problem keeping our boat at the dock and caught a few fish off of it as well. The location on the lake is very convenient, being almost directly across from the state park and very close to Sutton's Landing and Beaver Creek. In our pontoon boat, it was about a 10-minute ride from the house to these locations that had bait and snacks. It is also a short car ride to the 3 restaurants and gas station on this side of the lake, the breakfast and burgers from the River Deck gas station are pretty good. There is several kayaks, tubes, paddleboards and outdoor games to use, although during our trip, the water was too cold. We brought our toy poodle, the yard is completely fenced and safe, a dog would have to swim around the fence to get out. They even offered us a Very early check in, which was awesome. Would definitely rent again.+++

We enjoyed a friend's trip to the Carolina Cup; the location was perfect for the event and the lake, firepit, and sunrises were a few of my favorite things. We are discussing making this an annual trip and would love to come back to the lake house.

Place is so beautiful! I enjoy the pool room the most! we went fishing and got a huge cat fish in the lake, very spacious kitchen and the bathroom are very clean! The karaoke is definitely my second favorite spot and the speaker is very clean and good and all the inside activity like board games, guitar too! Definitely feel like you’re at your own home for sure . The host is also very responsive and friendly definitely a great experience! Love to come back 🛶☀️

Beautiful location with a comfortable cottage. Host was very kind having our dogs. Yard was nice, shared dock was great to hang out on. Came in the offseason and was a quiet setting. We did not leave the dock/porch often! Grill was great, there was wood stocked for the fire pit and kayak with life vests available to use.

Clean place that was able to fit our group of 10. On a beautiful lake, and we were able to check out lots of stuff within driving distance. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay while in town visiting family Thanksgiving weekend. The house is comfy and cozy and the view of the lake is absolutely stellar! Unfortunately it was very chilly outside while we were there, but we enjoyed the view from the comfort of the warm living room and I cooked some delicious food, while taking in the beauty of the lake, from all of the windows in the very well equipped kitchen. We only had one brief hiccup when first arriving and trying to get into the house, but Miller answered my phone call on the first try and was super nice and helped us figure it out very quickly! We loved how quiet and peaceful the area is and enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife! The only thing that could have possibly made our stay better was having access to a washer and dryer, but otherwise it was perfect and we can't wait to come back and stay again! Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful home! 😊

What a lovely and peaceful place to stay! An amazing view for morning coffee complete with daily visits from the local wildlife. My family and I were sad to leave - thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space.
