My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

Stephen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and flexible as possible. He was proactive in letting us know that the check-in time was available sooner than listed. His keyless entry made it very easy to access his house and made it easy for all in my party to come and go as they pleased. His house was very clean and you could tell that as soon as you walked in the door. Everything worked well, his AC system provided arctic level cooling, his pool and hot tube was ready for use, his screened in game room was fun and actually stayed cool throughout the day, his outside gathering areas had plenty of seating, and his dock provided plenty of room to fish. This location on the canal was beautiful and easily accessible to St John's River. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cool place to stay, relax and have fun. Thank you, Stephen, for your allowing us to stay at your house it was well worth the cost.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake. This has been our practice for the last 6 years to go to the lake after the holiday rush. The cabin was lovely, clean, well stocked and we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

Omar & Angie are the sweetest couple. They were so responsive & accommodating. They have invested so much work into making their Airbnb a magical experience and every detail reveals more and more how much heart & dedication they have put into their family business. My (now) husband & I were in complete awe with the atmosphere. It was so easy and fast to set up for our small wedding, as the place is already picture perfect as is, and all 17 of our guest & our photographer fell in love with the place and mentioned several times how it didn’t even feel like we were still in Florida. Truly breath taking and we couldn’t have been more happy with the place or the hosts. We interacted several times with Omar in person and he always came off as a very hard working, genuine, and kind host. We want to book again in the future for our anniversary! Everything was literally perfect.

My sisters and I enjoyed our stay! We felt welcomed, comfortable, and right at home. We were visiting the area to swim with Manatees in Crystal River and the location was perfect. The friendly farm animals at our fence were a huge bonus for us! We had a good laugh about the bathroom “door” and had no problems during our stay. I would definitely stay here again,

As a horse person - I figured I would really enjoy staying at a horse farm. Some may think a horse farm cottage would be too rustic or smell like horses… not this place! Absolutely gorgeous interior design with everything that I would need for my stay. Very clean & comfy! The kitchen is nicer than the one I have in my house and I was really sad that I had to leave. The views of the horses in their paddocks really added to my love for this property. I whole heartedly recommend this cottage for horse & non-horse lovers 😊😊😊

Cute small house in convenient location for WEC and HITS. Great kitchen and comfortable living room/bedroom. The neighborhood is definitely developing (didn’t feel incredibly comfortable coming back in the dark), but that is typical for Ocala outside the gated communities. Overall a great stay and listing is on point!

Kristina and Beth, who managed the property, were the kindest and most pleasant hosts. They made us feel right at home and let us wander around the property anytime we liked. The horses, cows, chickens, and especially the dogs, were so much fun. We could interact with them as little or as much as we preferred. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We had a fabulous time! It was a great peaceful getaway and we can't wait to come back! One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

Absolutely loved our stay at Laurie's. It felt safe and was beautifully secluded yet easy to find. Close to endless outdoor activities. This place had everything you might need and more. It was well stocked with all the little things you don't think of. Will definately recomend to others and return myself.

Wonderful stay, the cottage was so inviting, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property is just beautiful. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and breakfast. The hosts were extremely nice and very responsive. I forgot some jewelry in the cottage, and they contacted me to let me know and offered to send it.

We had wonderful time. Everything was as described and more. The host family is incredibly kind and friendly. The hummingbirds that came in at dusk was a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We will be back.

This charming 1927 era home is serving cottage core ruffles and the flowery porcelain teacups of your dreams. We were transported back to another era when we walked inside, in a good way. Nostalgia with air conditioning! It was a short drive to bustling downtown Mt. Dora/Tevares. The house was comfortable and quiet. We especially appreciated the gated, fenced in yard so we could include our dog. It was really nice to have a quiet place to come back to after being in downtown with some of the weekend crowds. It was very easy to load in and out from the driveway/off-street parking. There are large live oaks in the backyard with lots of shade. Lake County is very dog friendly and there are many local restaurants that have outdoor seating so you can bring your well-behaved pup. There was also a neighborhood green space (no playground) just around the corner from the house. The grocery store was an eight-minute drive. A relaxing local getaway from our perspective.

Me and my friends stay here for a few nights and it was absolutely amazing. the view from the backyard alone was terrific. an amazing location free from light polution and loud noises it was nice for us to get away from the city. the place itself was exactly as pictured. Everything was great and I'll think of this place again next time I'm in Ocala.

Wow, such an extraordinary place. Looking out at a beautiful lake under the majestic oaks. This was such a peaceful location. Timothy was a great host who responded quickly to any questions.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend for his birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for. Out in the woods, secluded from the everyday hustle and bustle and quiet and literally right on the river. Early morning coffee was a treat with the birds and let’s not forget the alligators! Definitely will come again and again.

This cabin is just adorable! Perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway. Between the beach, porch, kayaks, and fire pit there is plenty for the entire family. Getting there is a little off the beaten path and I’m glad the way in was mentioned by our host before our arrival. It relieved the stress of thinking we were in the wrong place! House was very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again!!

Great place to stay with boat parking. Less than 5 minutes from multiple boat ramps on Harris Chain of lakes. House was clean and neat. Will definitely book again. Hunter was very clear with instructions and information as well as responsive when I messaged him.
