Lake Whitney : locations de maisons de vacances

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. If you’re on the fence—stop overthinking and just book this place. It’s a peaceful slice of country heaven, tucked away from everything but close enough to what you need. We loved how quiet it was. Our kids fished for hours and then swam the rest of the day—we literally had to drag them inside every night. The hosts responded quickly and even offered up their cell phone numbers in case of an emergency, they were awesome. Honey Farms is the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe a little deeper, and forget about your phone. We’re already planning our return.

What an amazing place!!! This was probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We rented this large home for a work trip. There plenty of beds, bathrooms, seating at a large dining table, spaces to have small meetings, and sitting areas to relax. We especially enjoyed the backyard and patio. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I presume that is because this location is likely used as a true bed-and-breakfast or venue for events like weddings. Check in with super easy, instructions were very clear, and the place was easy to find. It was not far from I 35 and conveniently located to where our event was being held. The house is situated close to a train track, but no one complained about being awakened by the train. All bedrooms were beautifully appointed, had everything that was needed, and blended old world beauty with modern conveniences. We would not hesitate to stay here again, and in fact, our hoping to make our event and an annual one

We truly enjoyed our spring break at this oasis in Waco! We got to do our sightseeing and then got to come back to a clean and comfortable house! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was lots of everything in the house, so if you needed it, I am sure you could find it there! Awesome place!!

Dan was very friendly and responsive. The house is very comfortable and spacious, great for a group or family who wants to enjoy the peaceful nature of Bosque county while still having access to small town amenities. The kitchen is great for preparing meals, with plenty of utensils and cookware all placed in thoughtfully labeled cabinets and drawers. There is an outdoor gas grill that overlooks the property with great views and a patio nearby to enjoy a meal outdoors. The property itself has well defined walking trails over rolling hills that we all really enjoyed. Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable stay, thank you Dan!

Clean, well maintained home in a nice neighborhood. Short walk to the lake. Lots of amenities. Short drive to everything we wanted to see. We were impressed and surprised by how pretty Waco is. My sister and I plan on returning and staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home, Matt!

We stayed for two nights with another family. It was the perfect size for two families of four (kids all under 3). The huge backyard was great for the kids to play in. The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! It’s on a pretty busy street, but yard is fenced in. Only thing I would have liked to see improved is a latch on the gate. Otherwise the stay was perfect and we will certainly look to stay here again next time we’re in Waco. It’s a great value for the money with 4 well appointed bedrooms.

The house was exactly as advertised and even better. Erika was always very friendly and nice throughout our stay. The house is located in a beautiful area with great nature views. We only ran into an issue with the heater not working during our stay, but Erika and her husband tried to resolve the issue. Other than that our stay was perfect, we hope that we can return.

Beautiful, spacious home that met the need of our big family. Areas of the house provided a place for each family member! The miniature horses, spacious outdoor deck and secluded location made spending time outside vey pleasant.

We had a great stay at the Main House at Country Woods Inn! The location was perfect for our family New Year's vacation, just 15 minutes from Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim. We loved all the amenities on the property: fishing, petting zoo, small library, tether ball, see saw and campfire. We were able to walk to the river to fish and look for tadpoles at Big Rocks park. We loved having pizza a the large farmhouse table which easily sat our group of 11. The 5 kids enjoyed the loft and each of the three couples were comfortable in the downstairs bedrooms. The house was cozy and quaint. Helen was incredibly responsive as we prepared for the trip and while we were there. I texted her about s'more sticks and she knew exactly where I could find them. We loved having s'mores at the campfire! One of our favorite parts was petting rabbits and watching Lily the goat jump the fence. We definitely will tell our friends in Dallas to check out Country Woods Inn!

Great location for the guys to golf at Squaw Valley. Wonderful communication prior and week of leading up to the stay. Would stay again! Thank you for being flexible and hosting this group!

A GREAT house! Brand new, very clean, most cleaning supplies and basic necessities were on site. Having 3 rooms with king beds and all having their own bathroom is a rare find. Will absolutely stay here every time we are in Waco area.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming Christmas cottage! From the moment we walked in, we (including my teenage and adult children) were blown away by the attention to detail in the décor—every corner was thoughtfully decorated with beautiful holiday touches that made the entire space feel cozy, festive, and welcoming. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, and had all the comforts of home with a few bonuses! The host was exceptional—communication was clear, timely, and thoughtful. They provided us with everything we needed and more…the popcorn machine, hot cocoa bar and the extra yummy surprise was above and beyond our expectations. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay. If you're looking for a magical, cozy retreat any time of year, this place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been to a lot of places and this had to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at we all loved the location and scenery. Perfect vacation spot if you want to just get away

The house is wonderful! The house is super clean, had everything you could need. The out door area is fantastic too! Lots of sitting areas a stunning view of the lake. Fairly easy to get down to the lake. The kids loved playing down by the water! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our weekend at the Cabin in the Woods. It was very cozy and private. The surrounding trees are gorgeous and the weather was perfect for dining on the patio. All the furniture is very comfortable from the couch to the bed. Brandi was an excellent host!
