Wish we could’ve stayed longer! These hosts thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Fully stocked, and they even left snacks and wine. My husband is from the West area, so we go back frequently. We will definitely book this place again.

We enjoyed our stay! It was centrally located for us to our kiddos. Had plenty of room for us to throw some burgers on the grill and enjoy some family time together! Will definitely be back! House was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend it!

We had the most wonderful stay! The location was perfect – close to all the Waco sights, but also peaceful and relaxing. The house was beautifully decorated, and we loved how cozy it felt. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners have clearly put so much care into this place, and it made our trip so memorable. We had a lovely stay at the Juniper House! The home was very clean and cozy. It was the perfect location for everywhere we wanted to go and we felt right at home. We stayed busy during the days, so it was the perfect house to unwind at during the evenings. We especially loved the big backyard for our pup!

For us, this place has been exceptional! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We arrived at our original AirBnB only to be horrified at the condition of that place so we immediately started looking and praying that we’d find another one at the last minute. I reached out to Sharon explaining what happened to us after driving for 22+ hours and she immediately told us she’d be more than happy to help us out. She jumped through hoops to have her place cleaned from the previous renters and to allow us an early check in just to remove some of the stress we had endured since our arrival. Once we walked into her beautiful and super clean home, all our stress disappeared. We were instantly able to get cleaned up and get some rest before all our son’s wedding festivities got started. Sharon was a life saver for us! Very responsive and just one of the kindest humans we have ever met! We can’t thank her enough! ❤️

We recently stayed at Gathering Oaks Retreat in Crawford, TX, for a couples weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the serene and peaceful surroundings. The retreat is beautifully maintained, and the outdoor games in the courtyard were a delightful addition to our stay. The property truly embodies a relaxing atmosphere. We spent our time taking nature walks, enjoying the fresh air, and simply reconnecting with each other. It felt like a blessing to be in such a tranquil setting, where we could pause and appreciate life's simple pleasures. The attention to detail in making our stay comfortable was evident, and the hostess was very helpful with the instructions for the facility. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a chance to rekindle your relationship, Gathering Oaks Retreat is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and full of gratitude for the experience. Five stars all the way!!

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. What an amazing place!!! This was probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We rented this large home for a work trip. There plenty of beds, bathrooms, seating at a large dining table, spaces to have small meetings, and sitting areas to relax. We especially enjoyed the backyard and patio. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I presume that is because this location is likely used as a true bed-and-breakfast or venue for events like weddings. Check in with super easy, instructions were very clear, and the place was easy to find. It was not far from I 35 and conveniently located to where our event was being held. The house is situated close to a train track, but no one complained about being awakened by the train. All bedrooms were beautifully appointed, had everything that was needed, and blended old world beauty with modern conveniences. We would not hesitate to stay here again, and in fact, our hoping to make our event and an annual one

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. We had such a great visit for our small multi-generational family gathering. The home was spacious and perfect to allow all of us to hang out together and have our own space to retreat for sleeping- the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and great river views!

Nice place to stay! Our hosts Victor & Adriana were quick to communicate and solve problems and were gracious hosts. The area was usually quiet and felt safe, but there were a couple of really loud nights due to the storage garages across the street and really noisy people. Not the hosts fault obviously, but made for a couple rough nights. Otherwise it was very clean, very easy to get to and get inside. Thanks so much!!!

Our stay at Kim's place was terrific. Very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. We got to watch the deer coming up to feed by the front porch. Kim was flexible with check-in time, allowing us seniors time for our afternoon nap! The property was as described and very clean. Plenty of towels and dishes. Overall, a great stay for six retirees. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place and centrally located from the freeway. We stayed for one night because we had a family gathering nearby and it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Jon's cabin. The property was very clean, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect for walking our dogs and had a big fenced-in area. The host was very responsive to our inquiries. This was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs, cozy and secluded with everything we needed for an extended stay. Would highly recommend

The kitchen was impressively well-appointed, making meal prep a breeze, and the beds were so comfortable that we felt right at home. We also really appreciated the early check-in time, which gave us extra hours to settle in and enjoy the space. It was the perfect setting for our 1960s art mystery party! The stylish decor and retro vibes made it feel like we had stepped right into the era. Our guests were just as enchanted by the space as we were! This home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to create memories. If you love mid-century style and a thoughtfully designed space, this is the perfect getaway.

everything was as expected, nice place to stay!

I had 6 sisters fly in and it fit out needs perfectly. The cabana was cute, however getting the heat regulated (not well insulated) was problematic. It warmed up when the temp outside got over 70. Pretty pricey for Waco and an off weekend plus fees for everything but that's the nature of this site, I guess. Had a plumbing event during our stay. Took over an hour to get someone out but he was pleasant and efficient. Emailed the hosts after checkout with items they may want to address and have not received a reply. Overall great place to stay and would stay again.
