In a great location, looking across to the water, Lan’s place was ideal for a relaxing few days at Loch Sport. The house is spacious and very well-equipped. Lan was a terrific host. She offered us an early check in and a late check out. She left a lovely bottle of shiraz for us as well as a basket of snacks and bathroom supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturiser. The pantry was very well stocked. There is a causeway in Loch Sport that leads directly to Ninety Mile Beach – well worth a visit. We highly recommend Lan’s place and hope to return one day.

This was a perfect spot for the 5 of us to have a really restful getaway with our dogs, with plenty of different spaces to relax in as well as great communal spots both in and outdoors. This place fit the brief of what we were looking for perfectly and definitely lived up to expectations. So close to a pristine beach and had all of the amenities we needed to enjoy our time at the accommodation. Brent was very responsive & his information was very clear; we all highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Nobby's Rest. Travelling with a reactive dog can be difficult but this trip was all that I'd hoped for. The beach was deserted, the ocean was wild and we enjoyed long walks and paddling in the water (it was too rough for our swimming abilities). The house was homely and the fencing is very secure, my dog loved the freedom of being able to roam the yard at her leisure. For us, the lack of mobile reception was a bonus and added to the relaxation, forcing us to disconnect from our phones and spend quality time together. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Overall a wonderful stay for our family of 6 (3 adults + 3 kids) & 2 dogs. We especially loved the deck around the property as our dogs could move around and rest in different spots as the weather heated up during the day. Place was cosy, well-furnished and well-equipped (which makes sense considering the limited options available at Golden Beach). Instructions were clear and we were greatly appreciative of the flexibility shown with check in & check out. Our dogs also enjoyed resting under the house (gave us a scare when we couldn’t find one) and as it’s a fully secure place, we had absolute peace of mind. Thoroughly recommend Megan’s & Mark’s if you’re looking for a peaceful beach retreat away from the hustle and bustle; in idyllic, blissful, beautiful Golden Beach. We will be back again !!

Our stay was incredible. Great location. Clean/tidy place with a beautiful view out the front and also from your bedroom! We bought our boat which was great having the jetty. Heaps of wildlife and great restaurants. Metung is great!

We loved this beach house right next to the lake. It had everything to guarantee a comfortable stay and more. The yard was secure for our dogs and right behind the house is a walking path taking you along the beautiful lake with many beaches and beautiful areas. we had a wonderful stay and our dogs loved it too.

The thing we really enjoyed was the silence, it's been quite some time since we've lived without background noise. A delightful spot, Kat a friendly and welcoming host and nearby if we needed her help in anyway. A real home away from home. It was such a pleasant surprise to go outside at night and find kangaroos enjoying a nibble on the back lawn. A huge variety of birdlife including black cockatoos.

Had an awesome time at Danial’s place, great location with lots to do. The house itself was clean and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend Danial’s place to everyone who wants to have a relaxing time with family and friends!

We had such a wonderful stay at Astra’s Airbnb! The place was super cute, beautifully decorated and had such a warm, homely feel. Everything was thoughtfully set up, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Astra was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book again – highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our say at 29 on wharf. Jenny was friendly and communicative without being intrusive. The apartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely touches like cold bubbles, fresh milk and chocolates on arrival. The view was fabulous and the environment extremely comfortable with good quality linen and fixtures. I have no hesitation in recommending this stay.

A beautiful, peaceful stay. My husband and I were wanting something quiet and comfortable for our stay in Metung and this property was perfect. An incredible view of the water, a toasty fire, privacy and walking distance to shops. Jan’s communication was also clear and quick. Looking forward to returning again one day soon.

The house was very clean and tidy and the location was perfect. When we arrived, a bottle of chilled white wine was waiting for us in the fridge and ninety nine miles of uninterrupted sandy beach at our doorstep. There is a Foodworks store - also selling fish & chips, nearby. A short drive to Loch Sport, Sale and Lake Wellington. Paynesville is 1 hour and 23 minutes away and Metung 1 hour 45 minutes. Lots a board games, DVDs and CDs in the house. Kids loved them. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot thank Dean for his hospitality enough and we highly recommend this property. Thank you so much Dean 🙂

Very peaceful place to stay, suited our group of 3 couples, each having a bedroom and bathroom, albeit the 3rd bedroom is small with a separate bathroom off the laundry, it wasn't an issue for myself or my husband, it is was a clean comfy bed and clean bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped with complimentary beer, wine, chips and chocolates which was a lovely touch. Afternoons I spent in the hammock on the waters edge. The board games were good to have and "Battle of the Sexes" was a laugh and a half. The drive into town was easy so being on the other side of the water wasn't an issue for us and it was nice looking at the lights of the town opposite at night.

We loved our stay here! Great location with amazing views. Short walk down the stairs to the beach. Miranda was super friendly and responsive when we had an issue with the TV. House was clean.

David was a great host, plenty of communication re check in and flexible with sleeping arrangements, he made the stay quite stress free. The location cannot be beaten with 90 mile beach about 100m from the back door and the jetty 50m from the front.
