Our host, Tom, accommodated our family with a last minute request that was outside the typical stay parameters after another host had to do a last minute cancel on us for an unforeseen circumstance. He was the nicest host we've ever had! The home was very spacious, comfortable, spotless and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, paper supplies and all our cooking needs. Beds had soft, comfortable bedding. Bathrooms stocked with soaps, shampoos and plenty of towels. We truly just had to bring ourselves and the food/drink to enjoy a wonderful family Christmas stay. I highly recommend this AirBnb and we will definitely stay with this host again whenever we are in the area. Thank you!

James' place was a perfect place to stay while I was relocating to Richmond with my 2 dogs. The house is a 4 minute drive to my new house and accommodated my dogs and me in all respects! It's such a cozy house, I wish I had been able to spend more time enjoying it! Also worth noting, James graciously arranged to extend my stay one day without a lot of notice when I realized I needed a bit more time. Service like that is hard to find!

This was a great place overall—clean, comfortable, and easy to get to, which made check-in and coming and going super convenient. My family really enjoyed the space, especially the layout and how everything was thoughtfully arranged. However, we did feel a bit exposed at times, as the front and back doors didn’t have any curtains or coverings, which made the inside visible from outside, especially at night. Additionally, the locks on those doors didn’t feel very secure, which made us a little uneasy during our stay. A few small improvements—like adding door curtains or blinds and upgrading the locks—would go a long way in making the place feel more private and secure. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay!

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood that had everything we needed for our extended stay. Tall fenced in yard was a plus for the pup. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions!

Place was just as described. We had a good stay at the host’s secure and quiet apartment. Would certainly consider staying in the future. A good place for a couple people staying for a brief trip to RVA. Host was very responsive and provided all listed amenities.

Amazing location, the best stay we have had. The views was scenic, peaceful, beautiful! We loved this place sooo much! Clean in side, has everything you need from port to pans to linens and comforters. So much fun here!

During our stay there were several weather related issues. The electricity went out because of the weather. Since I was not the owner of the property, I could not report the outage to the power company. Once I informed Edna about the situation, she immediately contacted the power company, provided me with the information I would need to check on power status, and had the power company contact me. Edna was prompt with responses when there were some complications with her cleaning service.

this is a very quiet place to stay with a very large living room. sitting in the back yard overlooking the creek was a nice place to be in a little bit of nature.

We had a great 3-night stay—the place felt comfortable and roomy enough for 4 people. Very clean and quiet! Appreciated the treat/toiletry bags and the responsive communication by Desi. Would stay here again!

Alex's home is charming and comfortable, a welcome home base for my family's trip to Richmond. The yard was great for my pup to explore. Be sure to sort your recyclables, there's a separate bin in the alley!

Eddie was an outstanding host! His home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. He was welcoming, easy to communicate with, and made sure everything was perfect during my stay. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend Eddie as a host!
