Irene is a great host, always responsive and she has been very accommodating when we had to make changes to our check-in time. The apartment is in a great location, very central in Mui Wo and 5 mins walk to the ferry pier. Highly recommended if you visit Mui Wo and Lantau.

We stayed for 4D3N and I really wish we stayed longer at Pinky's place. It's our first time in Hong Kong and it's a very convenient place for first-time tourists. It's just a walking distance away to the MTR, bus stop, Wellcome grocery, Temple Street, and more. It's also easy to find for Uber drivers. There's an elevator which worked flawlessly and we never had to wait long. Our only big issue is the shower heater. Pinky was very helpful and taught us how to make sure the switch was on. But we realized that even if the switch was already turned on, the "Hot" water setting was still very cold and the Cold water setting felt like it had come straight from the freezer! Because of this, we dreaded showering each day. 😄 But overall we had a really great stay and were grateful to have found such a comfortable place for a great price. Thank you so much Pinky!

Fantastic little apartment in the heart of Mui Wo. Close to all transport, brief walk to the beach and a great view. Apartment was stylishly fitted out, extremely clean. HP was super helpful and responsive. A fantastic place in Mui Wo to stay!

Tish’s place was perfect to spend the Christmas holidays at. very warm and cozy. just like the photos and easy communication.

We lived 20 years in HKG, for us it felt coming back home. DB is still an outstanding destination and Gill‘s flat fulfilled by far our expectations. Actually we rented it a second time. Also for visitors coming the first time to HKG/DB it‘s very special, plenty outdoor activities, excursions, beaches are at the door step. North & South Plaza offering plenty of options, like restaurants, SPAs, shops & supermarkets. a good base to explore the entire territory. very well connected with transportation facilities. we are in love with Peony, excellent authentic Chinese food. even the weather was pleasant, not so hot. Love the location! An easy walk to the ferry. Lots of restaurants and stores on the way. Everything is as described in the listing.

We had the best time living on top of Stanley Market. A quiet apartment, very comfortable beds. We never had any meals in the apartment even though the kitchen and table would’ve been great to use for that. But there were so many good places to eat in Stanley (the pizza place at Stanley Beach, the yellow house on Stanley New Street etc) and Repulse Bay (Spices). We would’ve liked a few more large towels but otherwise it was just perfect.

We had an extremely relaxing stay in Anoes’ home. It is a wonderful retreat. We took our meals and coffee on the porch listening to rain on the roof and watching banana trees flower in front of the sea. The house interior is spacious and clean and the AC works well. We also very much enjoyed the walk to town along the wooded pedestrian lath. Anoes was a wonderful host. We hope to return.

My parents stayed at John’s flat. They were welcomed by his helper to find the flat and even helped finding the way for checking, very personal and great communication! The flat is spacious and modern and has a very nice rooftop with view to the ocean and mountains. Calm, has all you need (water cooker, shampoo, shower gel, towels, coffee, wine 🍷) and is a great location! They will come again!

We loved our stay at Francesca’s place! The decor is beautiful and the location is perfect - close to the Lamma ferry pier but out of the way of the crowds. Francesca herself was responsive, friendly and understanding of our needs. We would love to stay here again! The outdoor patio is an added plus.

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

I had a lovely stay at Fred's house. The place is very nice and quiet, situated in a lovely neighborhood next to the beach. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you will need for cooking. I will highly recommend this place to my friends.

This is a great house in a quiet village environment, surround by peaceful nature nearby including the beach, ocean, mountains and tranquil walking trails. Jen is a wonderful host who is very responsive and helpful. The house has spacious common areas on each floor, including a large kitchen, pool table, swimming pool, big couch, bar and rooftop terrace with great view. Each bedroom has comfortable beds with clean linen and useful furniture. The host Jen has proactively provided helpful local info including markets, restaurants, things to do and transport. She also refreshed several aspects of the house to make our family gathering enjoyable one. Going the extra mile, she offered her Helper who kindly helped us address multiple needs when moving in. In summary, this great house has wonderful location, adequate space for large gathering (we had 10 people), comprehensive amenities with recent updates, and a great host behind it that made our stay a fantastic memory. Thank you!

Great quiet location away from the madness of downtown. Great deal, seriously hard to beat for value. Jacob was a great host and very responsive to any questions I had. I highly recommend looking at the bus routes in Discovery Bay before you arrive, as they are essential, especially for getting to the airport.

We had a wonderful week and enjoyed Lily’s appartment very much. Excellent lay out for a family of 5, prime location within DB, great view, perfectly equipped and most importantly, a very caring host! We loved our stay, we do recommend it 100%, and will hopefully come back!!

A very cute, charming homely flat in a nice, quiet part of Lamma. A great relaxing getaway for a single or couple with an incredble view of Hong Kong and a well equipped kitchen. Beware the one local shop sets it's own hours so best to bring groceries with you though Yung Shue Wan (a half hour walk away) has most things. Also being Hong Kong don't expect spaciousness - it's a cute, small studio-like getaway. Great way to get a feel for Lamma and relax. You can make your own breakfast/coffee and chill out on the deck after a day hiking.

While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

Gary has set up a very well priced accommodation for the price, I found it very quiet and peaceful though the street is full of life. Gary was proactive in giving me tips an itinerary and anything I asked. I like to lap swim , Gary suggested the Kowloon pool in the park 15 minute walk. And the room is well wired and came with a free roaming Wi-Fi and charger. All good.

A personal space well equipped for self down time. Rarely have seen such beautiful and stylish apartment. Never miss out the spectacular sea view with flawless location. The host is helpful, friendly and responsive. Flexible arrangement is a big advantage. Would definitely recommend to others, or revisit if necessary!
