We loved our visit to Massimo's home. We stayed in this home during our Tuscany tour. Beatrice allowed us to leave our luggage before check in which was very convenient as we didn't want to leave them in the car during our visit to Siena. While it was a bit far from places like Pienza and Cortona (about 1 1/2 hours), it was incredibly convenient to our car drop off in Florence and our visits to Siena and San Gimignano. I HIGHLY recommend using the link they send to arrive. I once simply typed in the address and Google Maps took me to three locations in San Casciano (one up a very steep mountain!) before I remembered that I had a different link. I can't say enough about relaxing in a hot top over looking the vineyards as the sun sets. You should definitely pay the extra cost!

The house is so nice, clean and cozy. Daniele gives us many helpful tips and place to go, very nice and proactive host.We enjoy our stay very much thanks to Daniele. The place is peaceful and easy to go anywhere, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Cinque terra. Such a lovely house , highly recommend for family trip👍🏼

We had a very pleasant time here. Carlotta was very friendly from the start, and even recommended local grocery stores. This place is a hidden gem! You are surrounded by beautiful trees & nature, but close enough to the town where you can easily catch the train to Florence. We absolutely loved it!

What a fantastic find!! Bernadino and Edoardo were superb hosts at the beautiful house overlooking the vineyards. It had all the amenities you could wish for and was spotlessly clean. Edoardo cooked for us one evening and it was so delicious and reasonably priced. I would gladly have had her cook for us every evening!! A perfect stay, couldn’t have asked for more 😊

Our stay in Florence was incredible thanks to Max’s hospitality. The property was very secure, walkable to all of Florence’s beautiful surroundings. Near a park, which was perfect for my children. He included great local recommendations, offered to arrange car services, and even included some wonderful family history with our checkin. The space is gorgeous and convenient. Would absolutely stay here again and again!

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza. Francesca è molto simpatica e super disponibile in qualsiasi ora della giornata ha risposto ai nostri messaggi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto i prodotti disponibili a partire dai saponi vegani in dotazione, fino ad arrivare al vino ed altri prodotti di qualità come il pane ed il delizioso olio che abbiamo potuto assaporare. L'ambiente è molto caloroso, ci siamo sentiti a casa grazie al focolare ed alla vasca idromassaggio. Sicuramente ritorneremo per poter rivivere questa fantastica esperienza. Molto consigliato per chi ama stare a contatto con la natura e trascorrere delle giornate tranquille e rilassanti.

Edy y Giuseppe nos recibieron muy bien, son muy amables, nos dieron tips para llegar y para ir a comer cerca de su casa, a una trattoria que era exquisita, auténtica comida italiana, nos hicieron sentir como en casa, estaba totalmente equipado para nuestra estadía. La estación de tranvía cerca de su casa nos ayudaba a estar en el centro en minutos, pero también volver a un lugar residencial y tranquilo, también se podía caminar. Había un supermercado cerca, un parque, y el restaurante I tre sapori, donde comimos la mejor pizza en nuestro viaje a Italia. Totalmente recomendable si van a Fiorenze

Matrace is of memory foam. I slept very well but just something you should know if you don‘t like this type of matrace. Extra blankets were there and overall super comfortable bed. Wifi speed was fine, not as fast as I would have liked. Host was really nice. We would definitely come back here! Use the app „easypark“ for nearby affordable parking on a „pay as you go“ basis. Shop im the nearby esselunga supermarket.

Leonard and his wife were very kind and welcoming, beginning to end. They were very responsive to our contacts with them and proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and had all we needed. They kindly invited us to join them and the wider family at a homemade pizza party in the garden one evening and later even brought us unexpected sweet treats. The property and it's garden estate were beautiful. We had gorgeous views from 3 sides of our apartment , mountains one way, across the valley another, and over the large garden on the 3rd side. All of the outlooks beautiful. It would be perfectly possible to use taxis and trains to get around the general area though having our own car there was very convenient for shopping and travelling as some attractions and facilities are several miles away. I feel our trip would have been less rich without a car. I'd describe the apartment as comfortable if rustic, but we had all we needed whether cooker, fridge, micro, washing machine etc.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! Arrivederci! :)

Very private and peaceful. Beautiful view and the house was well equipped and comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Claudia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer sehr hilfsbereit und super nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Appartements haben alles was man braucht, das Pool ist super - sehr sauber und mit einem wunderbaren Blick. Die lage ist auch top - in etwa 15 Minuten ist man in der Volterra und bis zu San Gimignano braucht man nur eine halbe Stunde. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und bedanken uns für das leckere Öl und den schönen Urlaub!

We loved our stay at Giulia’s - it was like home from home and had everything we needed. It has beautiful surroundings and is great for cycling! Giulia was very helpful with recommendations and friendly too.

Silvia è un host eccellente! La casa è assolutamente perfetta per un soggiorno nell’immediato entroterra della Versilia. Bel collegata alla principali destinazioni locali. Tutto assolutamente perfetto!

We had a quick 36 hour stop here during our honeymoon trek though Italy and Sara’s place was a great place to reset and relax for a bit. We loved visiting Volterra (relatively tourist free compared to our other stops) and the guest villa we stayed in was very cozy and comfortable. Sara and her husband were very helpful with anything we needed and they even left us a bottle of champagne on our last night!

Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Carlo et Elena. Le jardin clôturé et la piscine étaient de vrais plus. Sans compter toutes les petites attentions que Carlo a pu avoir pour nous, et même un cadeau pour notre petit chiot. Le logement est paisible entouré de montagnes avec une belle vue. Nous recommandons cette maison et son hôte car tout était parfait!

Cristina is the ultimate host! Everything was immaculate and set up for us. We traveled with two young kids, and she was proactively prepared with a crib & high chair. She also had amazing recommendations and answered any questions for us. Led us to a spectacular sunset winery in the hills. The premise has stunning views and hanging poolside in the mountains, was just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommended and makes you feel like family!

The perfect place to stay in Tuscany, beautiful home and gardens. We loved the views and the amazing swimming pool. The house had loads of character and was very homely and comfortable. Loved the location, not too far from Lucca and only 30 mins from Pisa airport. Andrea was a very friendly and helpful host too. Wonderful stay - thank you!

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.

Paula has not only created a beautiful sanctuary that perfectly reflects Tuscan culture, but offers wine tasting and a vineyard tour on her property. The location of this gem of a place is centrally located in the Chianti region , making it a perfect home base for day trips to Assisi, Firenze and nearby small villages that offer great restaurants and quaint shops. The region is cycling friendly, as well as offering places for day hikes. Staying here for five days was one of highlights of our Italian adventure.....and we highly recommend experiencing the perfect place to stay in Tuscany and the warmth and friendliness that Paula, Ferderico and her staff offer!!

Great location - close if you are flying into/from the Florence airport - extremely close to to Villa Antinori - Dario Ceccini in Panzano - San Gimignano - Siena, etc. Pictures are representative of the apartment - grounds exceed the pictures. Grounds are very well maintained. The pool is exceptional. Great cats and dogs to welcome you throughout the day. Kitchen is very workable, knives are sharp, gas stove and kitchen utensils are stocked and ready for your carbonara or amatriciana. Plenty of staff is located on premises but are not at all intrusive. 11 out of 10. Will return.
