Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

We had a lovely time at Sven's! The house is bright and cozy, filled with books and games. The woodfire sauna was a perfect way to warm up as we chose to come on the biggest snow storm of the year so far. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need for your adventure. Sven was a very kind and accommodating host. Beautiful place to visit in the Winter. Would also love to come back in the Summer and check out the hikes in the area!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

The place was great for a family weekend away. It was very clean and tidy. The direct access to the waterfront is fantastic and a great place to relax.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

You can really feel the warmth of this family home. it's just enough to really feel the love but not in a way that makes you feel like you're in someone else's space. the kitchen was well equipped with literally everything and was in good condition. Every room was clean and warm. Check in was seamless. Josh was responsive and generous. The kids space was fantastic for our 2.5 year old and the boardgame collection was awesome for the big kids. We hope to make a future reservation to take advantage of the property in the summer months. It's a good meeting point between Montreal and Toronto families. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

We absolutely loved our stay here for Valentines Days Weekend. It was our last Valentine’s Day as a family of 2 and really need a getaway and Rob and Shari’s place was the perfect spot. We fell inlove with their air bnb instantly and would instantly love there if we could in a heartbeat. Rob and Shari are so friendly and very welcoming. Always checked in during the snow storm to make sure if we go out to let them know so they could get the snow all cleaned so we could get out and all. Their place is insanely beautiful and very high tech which we love and very large . Perfect location. We plan on coming back again and hopefully next time it will be with our little one :)

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Maria was very friendly, helpful, and responsive from the very beginning. The place itself is in a quiet and beautiful area, especially during the winter when it was covered in snow. The apartment is very clean and tidy and has all the pots and utensils needed for cooking. It even has an Xbox 360 and a bunch of board games, which we made use of during our stay. While we were there, it snowed heavily and Maria was kind enough to clear a path for our car in the morning and even offered us some delicious freshly baked bread! I 100% recommend this place and would stay here again the next time I'm in the area!

Beautifully curated indoor space and tranquil outdoor space. The highlights of our trip were the hot tub, treehouse, outdoor fire pit and kitchen space where we cooked with friends and family. We hope to return, don’t hesitate to book your own space, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

My partner and I quite enjoyed our get away to the cabin. It is extremely close to Perth if you want to find a good restaurant or bakery. We loved the peaceful sounds of the birds and the silence of the night. We felt right at home from check in to departure. Jane and her husband were fantastic. Highly recommended and we will absolutely be returning.

On a loué ce merveilleux chalet pour la semaine de relâche. Très spacieux et bien aménagé. Parfait pour un gros groupe. Beaucoup d’activités et de jeux sur place. Nos adolescents et leurs amis/es ont adoré. À quelques minutes des pentes de ski. Dîner et bière au Redneck Bistro - super! Bien apprécié la communication avec nos hôtes (mention spéciale à Sue). On compte y retourner, peu importe la saison. Merci!
