Erin & Sadiq’s place was perfect for our family stay. They anticipated all our needs, especially with a baby and even provided a crib, high chair, kid dishes and utensils and all kinds of games and toys. The place is pristine and fully loaded with amenities. Erin was so responsive and accommodating. We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful four night stay at this charming and well-decorated apartment! The space was cozy and thoughtfully furnished, offering most comforts of home. The parking was convenient, the balcony provided views overlooking the Tay Basin and the fireplace added to the ambience. The town itself is delightful, with plenty of wonderful shops and restaurants (most were still open in January), all within walking distance. We were lucky enough to watch the town's Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day. We worked remotely from the apartment for two days, and the environment was peaceful and productive. Communication with the host was excellent both before and during our stay, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

The 2 beds were extremely comfortable and our teenage son slept well on the pull-out sofa. We could occasionally hear footsteps above us, but never during “quiet hours” and it did not bother us at all. Easy to navigate and find supplies within the unit. The unit is as shown in the photos. Not overly large, but very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. In the bathroom, the light-up mirror was a nice touch & the shower was hot with great water pressure.

Definitely our Go-to place when in town on business.

Our stay at Paul & Catherine's couldn't have been any better! It's the perfect place steps away from the main street. The place was cozy and charming just like the small town of Almonte. It was super easy to communicate with Paul & Catherine; they were responsive and informative from the day we booked their place. We would definitely book their place again!

Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

This is a beautiful, peaceful property, with comfortable furniture and plush beds. Pete went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Love love love this home. It was cozy and spacious. Came to town to visit family. Will hopefully get the chance to rebook in the future.

Jenny's place was better than expected. my family felt right at home in this cozy home, and it was the perfect distance to Ottawa, with so many things to do over the weekend. Jenny was able to accommodate our request for an early check-in time, and her check-out instructions were clear and concise. The beds were so cozy, I wish I could have taken them back with me! The kids loved the board games, and the place was absolutely clean. I would highly recommend others to enjoy this beautiful home.

We rented for 2.5 months And we enjoyed every minute of the place! Lovely surroundings, quiet, enjoyed great fires, Watched the skies and saw the northern lights, falling stars, beautiful spot! A very cozy place, lots of room inside and out. Had the kids out for a visit and walked the beautiful scenic road to Wheelers pancake house and enjoyed their museum as well Thank you for the opportunity to rent your lovely home and treating us so well 😊

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!
